• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Tire pressure recommendations

I also hope this thread stays clean. There is already good information here. Thanks BoilerAnimal. As for sidewall bulge missouriboy, I think that might get you in the ballpark. But knowing what pressure you are at and using the 4 psi rule is probably the best peace of mind for every rider...

Baja Ron swaybar on a F3L

I'm a proud owner of an RTS with Ron's swaybar on it. I went on a ride this past weekend with my significant other on twisty roads to a town called Jim Thorpe and IMO a factory bar would have been scary. Some of the turns were nearly 180 degrees and going down hill at the same time. With...

    Millage

:agree: I've always thought of a valve job as having them ground or replaced. I had air cooled VW bugs in the past and valve gap setting was a regular thing to do on them because of wear. Without hydraulic lifters it's a necessity to keep the valve gap proper or a valve job will be...

    USB not working

I use a USB stick with mp3's on it without any problems. The stick has to be formatted FAT32 for it to work properly. Pull the music off if you don't have a copy of it and reformat the stick to FAT32. Put the music back on and see it that helps. Good luck!

Banner ad AI, not so smart

If you don't want cookies and are tired of being tracked on the internet you need to get DuckDuckGo. It will keep unwanted cookies off your computer. They also have an app for phones and tablets. Also it causes any problems for you on a certain web page you can turn it off.

Questions for the experts - not the wannabes at my dealership

I finally noticed a vibration on my spyder at around 70mph. The belt of course. Haven't decided to change the tension yet. When I read the part about the squeak I immediately remembered someone on here having loose bolts on their sway bar linkage. Just another possible area that needs...
