• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Digital - Analog tachs out of sync...

Replaced cluster... My analog and digital tachs would fall out of sync, i.e. the analog needle would often drop 1-1.5k under the digital readout; at other times they would stay in sync. Dealer replaced cluster under warranty and no problems since. Be aware, there is no way to roll the old...

Connecticut Ryders - will you help?

Quick list... From a quick scan of posts, I came up with this list. Can't guarantee its accuracy, but it might be a good start: Maryland – has a 3-wheel test & endorsement Michigan – required to develop one but not done so yet West Virginia – 3-wheel endorsement Ohio – 3-wheel endorsement...

Connecticut Ryders - will you help?

Helpful information Good luck. Wish I could help directly but I no longer live in CT. From reading many posts, I sense that there are more than a few states that have special 3-wheel endorsements. Would it be worthwhile to catalogue them and provide that info to the DMV. You can bet that...

Catch can parts and installation procedures...

Not that I'm aware of... Seemed to be so many posts regarding the application, I began to think it was SOP. Happy to avoid having to do one more mod. Thanks for the reply.

Catch can parts and installation procedures...

It appears quite a few of you have installed an "oil catch can." Never having worked with one, would someone be patient enough to lay out a list of required parts and some installation procedures for the RT? I don't want to waste money on the wrong parts, or worse, install it incorrectly...

    My new Oil Catch Can

Can you help me understand... Would you help me understand what the bypass system is accomplishing? Haven't seen one before so I'm just trying to get up to speed. Thanks.

    NOT A REAL PEOPLE PERSON

Happy to oblige... Generally, when one is new to a group, the smart thing to do is take it slow and not start your first encounter with a request. But we'll try to "endure" your petition, and you might even "endear" yourself to us over time.

    front luggage bag for Frunk?

Marsee bags If you can live without roller wheels, the Marsee bags provide for maximum flexibility and storage. I purchased some different sizes and my wife and I were able to pack enough for nearly a week on the road. They'll conform to the space you put them in; when fastened, the strap...

Cup holder (temporary) for Corbin Armrests

Armrest install... No, they were installed at the factory. I think the Corbin instructions should be complete. When reattaching the speaker pods, be careful not to pinch any antenna wires. BTW - this would be a good opportunity to make sure your antennae are properly secured. There seems to...

Auto vs Motorcycle Formula Did you use the auto or motorcycle formula? Although the RT uses special motorcycle types, the inner profile (especially in the rear) is more akin to an auto tire. Just wondering which to use.

Cup holder (temporary) for Corbin Armrests

Here are a few pics of a temporary cup holder for the new Corbin armrests until they release a more finished solution. They installed three screw points in anticipation of their product and I used the center one to mount the cup holder I received from Ken5517. I just removed the clamp that...

    iPhone Call Integration

Follow up question... So she tucks one of the ear buds in...any discomfort trying to accommodate the ear bud plus the headset speaker? Was wondering how tight the combination could be. What kind of helmet does she wear? Thanks for the idea.

    iPhone Call Integration

Have tried it... I had bluetooth headsets previously and the integration occurred nicely through the Garmin. Using wired headsets and the built in audio system seems to present a roadblock to accomplishing the same thing. Thanks though...

    iPhone Call Integration

I have the CB Comm System and XM Radio along with BRP wired headsets. I believe (unfortunately) that there is no way to integrate my iPhone for making and receiving calls via the headsets. Any chance I'm wrong? Should mention that I have a Garmin 660 that is wired into the audio and an iPod...

    XM Radio

Try Apache Motorcycles Apache Motorcycles has it listed for $449.99 (Part number: 219400148). You will need the Entertainment Harness Part number: 219400201) as well which is listed at $109.99. These are good prices compared to BRP retail. Installation of the harness requires lifting the...

    Refueling RT

Good summary... Scotty - I think you've summarized the problems nicely. I haven't had any problems, but I've only filled in CA and NV. Again, the interesting part of this thread is the state by state variations in nozzles. I did know that some states had different kinds of vapor recovery...

    SE5 Oil Consumption

What should one expect regarding oil consumption for the SE5? Modern autos don't consume much anymore, so I'm trying to understand what to expect and be prepared for with the SE5.
