• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Windshield

I am running that setup now. I think I have tried pretty much everything else available for an RS also. The robo brackets with this windshield is a good solution. The 'secret' is that the robo brackets allow the air to flow on the inside of the windshield. I believe Calsci does the same...

    how many spyders are there?

I am pretty sure they recalled 16,000 of them in 2010 for the power steering thing. I would guess there are closer to 25,000 plus out there by now. But I never see them. Anyone with a spyder and NOT on this board is really missing out IMHO. Without the help I have gotten on here I would have...

    Installing the smoothspyder Belt Tensioner

I have about 3000 miles on mine and love. And it was a Major' oh wow' thing on my bike. I think the loser you run your belt the more the tensioner will help. Mine got to vibrating at 4500 to 5500 rpm and now it does not. I can 'feel' it trying to, but it doesn't. Brp should add this as...

Can you "stack" the 1" riser block on top of the brp 1" riser stem?

I have an unsed 2 inch riser if that will help. I don't understand your situation but a 2 inch riser sounds better than 2-1 inch risers.
