• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Sounds like a Bluetooth issue. Try shutting your Bluetooth off on your phone and see if the problem persists.

    Thanks Troop. Shop manual calls for a 5w-40 so it looks like the Castrol Power1 5W-40 will be my choice. It has the Jaso MA2 and exceeds the SL rating I'm looking for.     Had a similar experience going about 70mph to Sturgis in 2004 on my Goldwing. Those Goldwing's were like riding on an upright sheet of plywood.     In my opinion (for what it's worth) it doesn't match the lines of the RT. Kinda too busy looking. Something a little less busy and not so symmetrical might look better.

    On my 21 RTL we could do without 3 different ways to adjust the volume on the sound system. I have never used the above tank controls and rarely use the left joystick to adjust the volume. one button is more than enough. Does anyone use the tank controls? What a waste.

    So Jet, Did the switch fail because it vibrated loose from the bracket and dropped down???? or did it just fail on it's own? I'll be checking the security of my switch this afternoon. Thanks for the heads up.

    2021 Outside Temp Gauge Issue

    In my humble opinion.....don't even bother showing that useless number on my dash! Give us a Navi system or even a cup holder instead. A temperature gauge should give you a true ambient temp..... not a temperature somewhere in the bowels of my Spyder. Just sayin' .........
