• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Coolant Change ? Read this first

As it turns out, this is a pretty well documented problem. Unfortunately, I wasn't aware of it until it was too late. When you unscrew the drain plug on your radiator, it is highly likely that the radiator nut-ring, which the drain plug screws into, will break free from the radiator itself...

OIL, not the same questions, I swear !

I have a 1995 Four Winns boat with a Ford 5.0 V-8. It stays in the garage when I'm not on the water and its in very good condition. The manual for oil changes says "Use only SAE 30, single viscosity oil. Do not use multi-viscosity oil such as 10W-30, or 10W-40". OK, I get it. However, this...

Log Cabin You're moving pretty darn fast ! When you get to the log portion, please let me know what brand or type of sealant/stain / or calking/ chinking you decide to use. I have a log cabin myself and I'm due for a new batch of each. I'm deciding what to use and keeping my eyes on what is...

    Spyder vs Road Hazard

Thanks to all for the kind words. I can honestly say it helps ease the pain of a beat up Spyder. As for the distance I was following behind the other vehicle, I can tell you it was as good of a distance as anyone can get on a crowded freeway. As somebody said a few posts back "Buffer whats a...

    Spyder vs Road Hazard

I was riding on the freeway today, the traffic was tight but we were all going about 65 MPH. A large chunk of twisted metal, say breadbox size, came flying out from underneath the car in front of me. I had absolutely no chance of avoiding it and rode directly over it with the middle of the...

    Laser Alignment Question

With this in mind, I've found that my RT travels straight and true if I have 2 riders and a full load. When I'm the only one on the bike, it hunts and will immediately go to one side or the other if I let go of the handlebars. With the heavy load I can ride for a good distance without holding...

    Laser alignment

Is anyone aware of laser alignment anywhere in the western states ? Everything I see is East coast, Florida, maybe Tennessee. Somebody could really clean up out here if they had it.

    twist throttle vs thumb throttle

You are correct sir, well said. I have 4 ATV's and ride a lot. Its difficult to control a twist throttle on some of the extreme terrain we ride on. Thumb fatigue can be a **** though. Same thing with snowmobiles, to a lesser extent.

Need your help -- do you have this issue?????

The guy in this video is clearly very smart to come up with this system. I'm curious to see the results that are achieved. Please chime in if you have had yours done or you know of any dealers that are using the system. Thanks

    MPG break-in

It will get better. Its hard to believe the improvement in mileage over time but it happens for sure. My 2011 RT- s was in the low to mid 20's when it was new. After 20,000 miles it is in the low 30's. My 2008 did the same thing, but far less drastic. Patience, :doorag:

rear tire valve stem >:-/ - any ideas how to actually add air!?

Thats cool, I guess I missed that discussion. Is this something most tire shops would do ? Im OCD with my tire pressure and tired of laying on the garage floor.

    Alternatives to OEM rear tire

Yup. Get that OEM 2 ply chicken skin out of there and go with the Kumho.
