• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Something new - rear wheel drive sprocket wobbling madly!

Wobbling Drive Sprocket I would be suspicious that the Sprocket bearing has either failed or not been installed, that would allow the sprocket to wobble. The sprocket is cast and there is no way you could bend it by riding. The wheel itself is riding on two bearings and you say it was running...

Fuel Type - anyone use ethanol and any problems?

Fuel? No stinking alcohol! Check with local marinas, as they generally sell NON ethanol gas for boats in many states. Ethanol is murder on boat fuel systems due to absorbing moisture and resultant corrosion in the fuel system. Often gas stations near lakes or rivers sell non-ethanol also. I...

    Hex Bolts Too Tight

Locked Bolts! I would suggest heating the bolt head in this case as it likely does not have nuts that are accessible. Use an Allen wrench of the proper size inserted into the Hex head and then apply heat from a propane torch to the Allen wrench, let it cool then use a new Allen wrench to remove...

Powered Antenna for 2016 F3 Limited

Powered Antenna? I assume that you may be looking for an antenna that has an amplifier to boost the signal to your radio? If so checkout an RV shop as most RVs and Recreational trailers have a separate amplifier from the stubby antennas to boost the signal, the amplifier is powered by the...

Tire pressure in the Rear Kuhmo tire

My $.02 and worth every penny maybe? As you say you just had the tire replaced, the slippage may be due to the tire needing a couple of hundred miles or less to scrub the tread surface of mold release and roughen it a bit to obtain maximum traction. And as others advise, a lower pressure may...

    Increasing daytime visibility

Be Seen! The biggest highest object with lot's of surface area is you! A high reflective jacket will give the biggest increase in visibility. I get comments all the time from other riders and drivers that they see me in my bright chartreuse jacket long before they see the :f_spider:. I ride...

both hips replaced want a spyder

Hip Help! By all means have him go to a dealer's showroom and try to mount any of several with floor boards. But I would suggest that he sit side saddle to start then swing or pull either leg up and over the tank while leaning back rather than the conventional method of swinging his leg to the...

    Riding the west coast

Riding the Wet Coast! I live on the central Oregon coast (Florence) and you can count on rain with temps in the 40-50 range most of the time. Occasionally there will be black ice and or snow on the highlands on Hwy 101 in December/January. Brookings is the "banana belt", most scenic area is...

    Charging voltage

Charging, charging! I would not recommend using a "Trickle charger" for maintaining your battery on the :spyder2: as most trickle chargers are not regulated and typically deliver 1-2 amperes into the battery and that is too high for long term storage, the battery will boil dry if it doesn't...

    Decrease in Posting

I would guess that many have a bunch of other hobbies that get in the way of fun! Here on the NW Coast I ride all year long except when it's pouring cats & dogs. Then add in ATVing on the dunes, Fishing, hunting (got a nice bull elk), Ham Radio, making a cider press, painting window trim when...

    2008 ECU

What Next? What does the dealer offer IF the new ECU doesn't fix the problem?? I do agree that a used one would be a big gamble, but who pays if the new or different ECU doesn't fix the problem? Electronics was supposed to make life easier! Should be possible with BUDS to check that all the...

Another 3 wheeler - if it ever hits the market...

Yea Gads!!! The rear tire must be a KENDA because it didn't last:yikes: I know I'll stick with my SPYDER even if Bob D shares some of that cash from the prince:roflblack::roflblack:

How many Spyders have you owned.....

#2 SPYDER I started with a used but well cared for 2008 GS, added 10k miles to the odometer and traded for a leftover 2015 ST for a better seating position, lighting, windscreen, and smoother ride. Both are great rides, but love the 2015 ST.:clap::clap:

    Squeaky rear brakes

No Squeaking!:clap:Sounds like you have a good fix for a problem. I had a 2008 GS and the brakes drove me crazy in reverse they made great "backup alarms"! Tried new pads, cleaners, magic elixirs, and ear plugs. Thought about springs but thought that was too easy:joke:. I'm sure that...

    anti sway bar

Quick Reply :chat: I believe that Ron only supplies the Anti-sway bar with the metal links as the OEM plastic links have been known to fail due to the increased stress from the stiffer bar. Ron's bar and links are a worthwhile addition to your ride, they make a huge difference in crosswinds...

    Trouble free spyders

No Problem, No Trouble! :yes:I have had two, well one and working on the second one with no problems other than me! The first was a 2008 GS purchased used and I put over 10k miles no troubles. Traded for a 2015 ST 30 days ago, passed the 2500 mile mark and no problems either. Do I enjoy riding...

    Slide Over Spyder - Honda’s Neo-Wing

COOL Ride That is a huge step forward for "TRIKEDOM" Did I see a HYBRID label in image #4? And a shaft drive! I'll betcha it'll be quiet too! Love my :spyder:but i could be persuaded!

    Where are you in Oregon???

Florence! :D 2015 ST Black Metallic  60+ years :yikes: Started with Doodle-bug, Cushman Scotsman, Triumph Woods Cub, BSA Gold Star, HD 45 Flat Head trike, Yamaha YZ250, CanAm 2008 GS, and now the 2015 ST. Enjoyed them all, each was different, and for those that complain about their...

What Should CanAm Have made Stock ?

Stock Requirement? My $.02 (1). Real wide angle mirrors to eliminate the HUGE BLIND spot alongside slightly to the rear right and left. Even large trucks disappear in the "Black Hole". (2). Serviceable headlights that can be replaced without disassembly of the instrument cluster...
