• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Riding to Red Rock Rally?

Is anyone from Oregon or Washington riding:spyder: to the the Red Rock Rally? If so, I'd enjoy company on the trip. Leaving from the Oregon coast on Sept 24th.

    Wheel weights Maximum???

What is the maximum number of wheel weights that can legally be used to balance a tire? My new 2015 ST has 4 quarter ounce weights on one front wheel, and the other wheel has 20 quarter ounce weights:yikes:. No noticeable vibration so it must be balanced within some sort of a specification. But...

Red Rock Spyder Rally (6th Annual Western Region Spyder Rally) St George UT (9/27-30)

See you there! We will be there if the creek doesn't rise or somebody doesn't set fire to the woods! I believe that we are registered for the event, but plan to camp somewhere out of town, outa sight, out of our minds. Mike & Teri Myers 2015 ST Florence, Oregon well I thought that we...

    New ST Limited Stalling

Stalling, Mine too Mine stalled once in the first 1.5 miles city stop and go traffic. Dealer had cautioned me that it might stall at idle and stopped during break-in. It did just the one time and a couple of other instances it felt like it was going to stall at Stop light, so slipped into...

    Happy Rider!!!

Well I started with a used 2008 GS two years ago, put 7000+ miles on it and got the itch for something newer/more comfort. Went to local dealer and decided to shop with my eyes closed, just sit on the various models to find the "Feel" . Found myself on a Metallic Black 2015 ST, went for a test...

    Update - Spewing gas

Hooray!! Fantastic to hear a positive report! Simple fix and likely saved you from being a human torch, and best of all you found a great dealer/service point and that BRP did respond. Happy riding!!!:yes::yes:

    Radio issues

Mouse Fodder! From what I can see in your photo of the damage, I'd use a product available at most hardware stores, LIQUID TAPE. You just brush it on and it will encapsulate the wires, very tough stuff.

    How do yo make the........

No Waiting!! I had always set and waited! So after reading your post I went out and tried the magic method on my new 2015 ST, and it worked just fine "instant Start" and the SPYDER had been off and cold for hours, well past the five minute gas up time. Learn something new everyday...

    CB problems - promising development!

Squeal in Radio If I understand that you are using a HandHeld Transceiver to "test" the installation on your SPYDER. If you are close enough to hear the audio from your installed radio it is likely that the Hand held microphone is hearing the audio from the SPYDER also and retransmitting the...

Lost my use of the clutch

Clutch Fluid? If it isn't leaking out where it is visible, then it's going past the clutch actuator piston "O Rings" into the "wet clutch" and the engine oil. Can't be good for the engine.:yikes: How much does it take to do harm?:dontknow:

    New ST Limited Stalling

2015 ST Stalls at Idle sometimes I bought a 2015 ST last week and the dealer handed me a copy of a notice from BRP that stalling at idle and stopped may occur during the break-in period. Should restart?:yikes: Well being fore warned I got a mile from the dealer at a stop light, yep it coughed...

Shuts down when shifting into 1st gear - DESPERATE

Easter Egging! We call that form of trouble-shooting EASTER EGGING when anyone starts throwing parts at a problem on your "Big Dime" it's time to stop and change horses.nojoke A new trike from spare parts costs more than a new trike!:yikes: If that's all the dealer can think to do...

    My perspective

Good Perspective, Keep it up! Good to see some enthusiastic riders besides myself, and most are enthusiastic. I'm so up on my first SPYDER a 2008 GS that I traded it in yesterday on a 2015 RS. Newer, more features, smoother/quieter, more upright seating posture. I was happy before and...

    Veerubber tires

So Far so Good! I replaced all three of the Kendas on my 2008 GS when I bought it two years ago. Rear tire did not require any balance weights, the front tires only a small weight (too dark to go look now as to the amount of weight). I run 18 lbs. on the fronts and 26 lbs on the rear. One...

    Hit a deer an lived!

Oh No! Not another one!!! I used to wonder why all the skid marks on Alberta highways went off a perfectly good road into the swamp, then we nearly hit a moose. :yikes: Now, I know why! Even deer can be deadly, also the pesky Mountain Sheep licking salt from the pavement after dark. Glad you...

    Wheel Bearings???

Bearings, everywhere Try checking with any local automotive parts dealer, the bearings will be cheaper I'm sure. Every bearing assembly has a number on the side of the bearing, this number is the same for any of the various manufacturers. They all are off the shelf parts and are not unique or...

    Found chaffed wiring harness

More on Chaffing :sour: :sour: I should have given more detail as the Relay/Fuse Block clips into a metal bracket and the harness is stuffed in under the relay module against the metal frame. The motion involved was likely very small but over time it wore through the insulation, the exposed...

    Found chaffed wiring harness

I have a 2008 RS and decided to Install a Voltmeter, used a POWER WERKS voltmeter as it has a bright blue display and mounts with a simple round 1.125" hole. What I found while following the wiring harness to find a convenient wire that is hot only with the key on is of most interest. The wiring...
