• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Where do you store your Spyder?

Cats and Mice No matter where you decide to store your Spyder, keeping the animals away should be a top priority. They like to hide under the covers on the seat. Mice and other small rodents will set up home in the most obscure areas, store food, chew wires, etc. This intrusion and damage can...

    Dead Spyder

My thought process thinks that a clutch plate disintegrated, plugged the oil system which caused oil starvation and more than likely messed up the motor bearings and other components. Wish you the best of luck, I'm in the same boat you are, without warrentee, just crossed fingers. By the way...

    gps volume

OK, I have a 2012 RT Limited. There are settings in the GPS that have to be set, I Have mine set to Bluetooth to my helmet, but you can send this to the bike"s speakers. YOU MUST HAVE THE VOLUME TURNED ON AND UP IN THE GPS. Since the bike is at the other house I cannot check it out, but I will...

    Trailering a Spyder RT

I would be careful, The pivot point (geometry) of the rear swing suspension may allow the spyder to bounce up and down during transit. This could result in a number of unfavorable conditions. Just my opinion, nothing more.

Bad day yesterday on the spyder .

Had the same thing happen to my 2011RS, it was a front wheel speed sensor that went bad. Take it to the dealer.

    OEM filter life

Unless there is something going on in your motor you should be able to change the oil and do another 4000 miles. After the first couple of oil changes there should be little accumulation in the filters. Like every one else this is just my opinion. Happy Motoring :ohyea:

    6x12 trailer

There is a front door that allows access to the front of the trailer. The trailer also has a slant front. I use a over the tire method of securing the front of the spyder. The trailer is equipped with tie downs in the front so you could secure the front wheels through the rims quite easily...

    6x12 trailer

The door cable width is about 1 1/2 " shorter than the door opening. Shown is a 6 ft wide Stealth all aluminum trailer. I had to look at a lot of trailers before I found one that would work with the spyder.

    6x12 trailer

This is my 6 x 12 Stealth all aluminum single axle enclosed trailer. NO RAMP ISSUES, a little tight passing the ramp wires, but it fits. I pulled with a Ford Flex and now have a 4 x 4 Explorer v6 with trailer tow. No issues there. Combined weight of trailer, RT, and gear 2400 Lbs.

    Enclosed Trailer?

Not a good match. The wrangler only has a class 2 (3000#) hitch and no provisions for a brake system. You will need a vehicle with a class 3 hitch equipped with a electric brake unit for the trailer and mirrors to accommodate the 7 Ft wide trailer. Don't forget that the frontal area of the...

    Enclosed Trailers

This is my 6' x 12' Stealth all Aluminum trailer. Yes, it just fits, but that was my choice. The decision was based on the tow vehicle, now a 2016 Explorer with TT packsge. A 7' wide requires extended mirrors, and a heavier tow vehicle due to the frontal area. Its not all about the weight...

    Flying With Proper Identification

I was 20 years old and heading to Philadelphia Navel Base, They all looked good in uniform as they were hand selected to fit them well. :ohyea: I remember my sisters applying for stewardess training, for what ever reason none of them went.
