• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    1800cc F3

There's only so much material in the cylinders to allow an overbore so it would have to be a (big) stroker kit. You'd need at least an inch longer crank or shorter piston. Good luck with that!

    Extra junk in your frunk?

My understanding is the air comes in the front grille and is channeled out the sides. When the fans kick on they throw heat out towards the tires.

    Attitude Handlebar?

IMO, worth twice the cost. The different angle of the grips is perfect. Very easy to install, too.

    Extra junk in your frunk?

Here are some pictures of how far I removed the tupperware to clean my Spyder. I plan to do this every 100 hours or so. It takes about an hour to take all of that stuff off. Maybe faster next time since I know what I am doing now.

    Extra junk in your frunk?

Note that the side of the bike that is closest to the side of the road gets more bugs. The vast majority of my riding is through rural farm country so bugs are everywhere. I sprayed some hydrogen peroxide on that area and let it sit for a few minutes and almost all of it washed out with a low...

Is this just for the SE6 or is the SM6 afftected too?

    Extra junk in your frunk?

I wonder why BRP didn't make the frunk liner deeper. Note in the picture below that there is 3-4" of room not used. They could have easily used this extra room and still have plenty of airflow for the radiators. (I took my front screen off for cleaning. It is an excellent bug catcher!)

    36mm Scoket

This socket fits perfectly. I get 3 clicks of movement on my torque wrench and my ratchet handle. Just enough room to slowly tighten the cap.

    Ufit Foot Peg Position

You probably want the "long reach" or "attitude" bars. I have the "attitude" bars and they make a huge difference. The "attitude" bars position your wrists at a more comfortable angle, too.

Installed the stright shot pipe by Akrapovic

The stock muffler is 10#. I didn't weigh the new one but the box it came in has a UPS sticker on it that says 12.2#.

Installed the stright shot pipe by Akrapovic

To me, in fourth gear winding out from 3K to 8K, it sounds like a howl. Not as high-pitched as an inline-four, but very similar. While the quality is top-shelf, and it looks very cool, it is hard to justify (IMO) that much $ for any muffler. I paid $930 plus tax. I had an Akrapovič pipe on my...

Installed the stright shot pipe by Akrapovic

I installed mine today. All I have to add is some pictures of the packaging, which was done very well, and a scan of the instructions. It is a one-bolt installation. Very easy! Instructions: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/8230728/219400514.pdf

Any other Ryders in NE Arkansas?

Ride #1 CRSC will have its first "organized" ride on Saturday, August 29th. The meeting point will be at the entrance to Village Creek State Park. (Just park near the grass triangle at the entrance.) https://www.google.com/maps/@35.1716781,-90.7264682,17z/data=!3m1!1e3 The ride will be from...

    Leaking sealant from F3 Engine?

I might be wrong, but that looks like an Oetiker clamp. If it is, it is actually a very well designed clamp. More info: http://www.newageindustries.com/oetiker.asp I have a pair of these: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0037QFNJM The F3 service manual calls for pliers (295 000 070) that...

Interesting performance comparo between F3 and Indian

In the absence of a GPS, I have to fall back on old-fashioned math. If you go to "Gearing Commander" and ask for the F3's numbers you get 121.32 MPH. (Make sure you switch the display to MPH!) http://www.gearingcommander.com/ Note: The F3 only shows RPMs in increments of 50.

    Mobil 1 Oil Analysis Report

I'm using liters. The service manual calls for 4.5 L or 4.8 QT. ;) I'm sure 5 QT would be fine. I buy my oil in 2 GAL buckets so I have to measure it anyways.

    Mobil 1 Oil Analysis Report

Mine is the regular 0.5 L one. I have a bunch of leftover dipping spoons from Olive Garden so I scoop the oil out of my drain pan and put it into the Ratio-Rite. It is a lot of work but now I know what comes out and what goes in. (I won't need to measure it again.) For example, I have three V8...
