• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Full face or 3/4 Helmet

Scorpion EXO-900 Transformer My wife and I both have the Scorpion EXO-900 Transformer. http://www.revzilla.com/product/scorpion-exo-900-transformer-helmet They have a good array of accessories for them (shields, lenses, etc.), and its a pretty well built helmet. I have never taken the full...

    Quality Survey

I get the occasional DPS error, but a quick reset of the computer resolves it, and I'll get another 1000 miles trouble free.

    52 sold at spyder fest

I bought mine in January as well. Mid-rider with seat back, fuel door, and passenger backrest. Fantastic purchase. I can ride for hours in complete comfort. My wife loves it as well. No painful pressure points, no flat spot worked into my backside, its been really great. Keep in mind, I am...

Good afternoon all, Be sure you sign up on the Meetup page for the MD Spyder Ryder's. We rode this past weekend, and have a few more Ryde's planned for this season. Don't be a stranger, we would love to have you! We are always looking for others to step Up and lead local Ryde's in your area as...

    Bumpskid....is it needed?

It was the first mod I put on the bike. I have used it, it works, and I would do it all over again,... and it looks great to boot! The thing is, the skid can be replaced if it gets damaged too badly, the nose of your bike is a little different.

MoGang: PLEASE move Spyderfest to MAY

I didn't make the trip to Spyderfest this year, and I regret it, but I will tell you this, and its already been said here... weather is something that is out of everyone's control. Some of us from the MD Spyder Web took a ryde a couple weekends ago, and although the outlook was good, it turned...

    Problem with Slime in tires

Fix-a-flat would be good to keep on hand in the event of a puncture to get you back home or to the dealer, yes?

    SWAY BAR

The shocks really go hand in hand with the sway bar, though the sway bar made a major improvement and allowed me to back the Elka's off a little. I used to run the Elka's at 8.75" preload with rebound set around 15 clicks. I also kept the front tire inflation up around 22 to increase the...

Bajaron swaybar on a 2012 RT

There is no question that the RonBar is one of the best performance mods I have made. I have about 400 miles on it since install, and it's really changed the complexion of the ride. It's entirely more stable, flat through the turns, and sure footed. The only other mod I felt as strongly about...

    Favorite Ryding Music,...

ok, so here's your motivation,... You're out on some fresh pavement, on an old back road, knees in the breeze, just cruising. Its 75 degrees, the air is warm but comfortable, and its your favorite time of day. You can smell all the scents of the landscape, flowers and grass, and you don't...

    Night Ryding Glasses

Mine won't be prescription, but I know they can be custom made with prescription lenses, as well as bi-focal, I believe. I'll let you know fit and quality, but there were many reviews that rated them pretty well.

    Night Ryding Glasses

Got the Bobsters Road Hogs on the way! Looked like a good option, and I like the versatility of swapping the lenses and adding the head strap if I want it. Thanks all, great input! --P

    Night Ryding Glasses

Good day! I was thinking about a clear ballistics quality lense, like range glasses, but would like to know what others are wearing for eye protection when they ryde at night. ( If your'e wearing a full face all the time, I get it  ) Thanks --Pete

    Tricled LEDs

I can't tell you how true this statement is. You could not do better than Reggy. Top notch products, fantastic service, and just generally great to do business with. Reggy, not unlike all of our vendors here at Spyderlovers, provides a brand of customer service that is a lost art in modern...

    Ultimate Seat Finally Installed.

I agree, great color scheme on the Lava Bronze. I like the Spider embroidery too. I didn't have the courage to do that with mine, I just went with stock "Ultimate". /applause! Very nice indeed!

Tried a new camera angle with the GoPro

You really get a good perspective for the speed and contour of the road from that low vantage point. Very nice!

    Front brake noise (clicking sound)

Same here. On first brake, coming out of the garage, the front brakes will click. Also, when I'm backing up, I can hear a slight hum from the rear brake. This has been documented by many others in the past as well, and it's not a big deal as I prefer to go forward, but just be aware that you...
