• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Plastic rivet removal?

Snap-On Panel popper In a previous life I did 12-volt car audio installs for a living. One of the best tools in my box is a Snap-On panel popper. I use it for a multitude of things, but popping out these plastic pop rivets are right in the wheelhouse. It has a nice smooth machined notch...

    Rain, rain, go away,...

Well, it's raining here in MD today, and riding is not so much fun in a down pour. So what's your sanctuary when you can't get out to Ryde? What are you passionate about off the asphalt? On a rainy day like today, I just take the opportunity to kick back in the recliner with a cold beverage...

    Question??? With all respect.

Life is a compromise. Good morning, For me the Trike serves a couple purposes. I'm 38 years old, and my health is not a concern. For me, I love the styling of the Spyder. I think its cool looking, and fortuntely, being the guy paying the note, I love riding it. It gives my wife peace of...

3-wheel motorcycle endorsement driving me nuts!

Trike vs. M In MD they require an endorsement, whether it be "3-wheel" or full "M". I opted for the full three day class with "M" endorsement for a couple reasons; 1.> Exactly what you are going through. Its almost like there is some disonnect between the state and the riders where, even...

    What Tire pressure?

Tire Pressure Dealer had mine set at; 15 PSI - Front 25 PSI - Rear Shocks - Level 3 After much reading and testing on my own for ride quality, I am set at; 18 PSI - Front 26 PSI - Rear Shocks - Level 5 - Rear airbag setting at 3/5 (default). This gives me a decent cross between a sport feel...

    Expectation on Analog Temp Gauge

Next steps,... Ok, so it sounds like I could be getting false positives, and at the very least, the analog gauges suck. Is there such a thing as a true remove/replacement that uses the factory wiring and such that is already in place? How hard is it to wire up the temp gauge to the digital...

    speaker Upgrade

Speaker Upgrade - Polk DXi I just completed this upgrade over the weekend, and it is a bear. I dropped in a full set of Polk Audio DXi Marine speakers. (5.25" Front, 4" Rear) I managed to do it without taking down the whole dash/windshield assembly, but its a tight space to work in. I also...

    Expectation on Analog Temp Gauge

Hey all, I need a little advice on something. I will preface this post with some transparency. It was 105 degrees on the display on the ride home, and I know hot is hot. I just checked (and topped off) all my fluids this weekend. I use the BRP 50/50 coolant, and oil levels were good...

    Finally! It arrived!

Welcome to the club! You're among the elite now! (Hows that for ego? Haha!) Welcome aboard. There are a lot of great people, and there is a lot of great info on these boards. Half the fun of ryding a Spyder are the mods, and it sounds like you have an initial plan. I had a similar experience...

    Waited to long

NO more motivation required! I just took delivery of mine last night, and all I have done so far is open up the packaging to look it over. After reading this, it goes on tonight when I get home! I have to tell you guys, Spyderpops makes a great line of accessories. I just put my mesh grill...

How to deal with the heat???

The convection effect It's been really hot here in MD the last couple weeks, and I equate riding the Spyder in 100+ degree heat to a convection oven. My wife HATES it when it's this hot. Even with a fan directly on you, it's still blowing 100 degree air in your face. Hot is hot, and the...
