• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    New Thread for Hand Warmers

    Took :spyder: to my snowmobile dealer last Friday and we installed snowmobile grip heat elements with a 3 way switch (Hi-Off-Low). Works great....no ugly attachments on bars. Total cost for parts was about $120.00. Temps have been in the 40's in the am and the heated grips are working great.

    gear position error

    After 3 trips to dealer (350 miles roundtrip) I finally am getting a new shift position sensor. My :spyder: was confused as to which gear it was in also. Worst problem was in 1st and 2nd it would sometimes think it was in reverse and when you rolled on the throttle (pulling out in traffic)...

    Hindle Exhaust or Fog Lights at the time of Spyder delivery? Which would you choose?

    Far as I know only the BRP foglights fit the Spyder. I installed mine, and yes, they are a pain in the butt. I also drice 20+ miles of 2 lane winding country roads loaded with deer.     Glasses fogging up.

    I use my BRP modular snowmobile helmet. It has a breath deflector that is vented to the outside. Looks like a fighter jet pilots oxygen mask. Helmet also has built in slide down tinted visor within the helmet.

    LED's

    I have the LED starter pack plus the remote control, plus extra micro 18's and micro 9's. They look great and everything you need will be in the kit. My suggestion is get the starter kit and remote, then decide if you want more after that is installed. Sorry i have no way to post pics or videos.
