• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Question: Spyder RT-S w/electronic ride adj

Okay ... not trying to freak myself out ... not experiencing any real problem; just an observation that I wanted to see if others note and to guage if it's 'normal.' I have a 2010 RT-S with the electronic air cush adjustment for the rear. I keep that adjustment to one 'mark' down from the top...

    Let's Dress Up Those Fenders!

I guess my wish was ... I'd hoped for a professional accessories fabricator to design a moulding and trim appropriate for the Spyder fenders that have the same class and finish as one might find on a touring Harley or Goldwing. I didn't want to simply buy stick-on moulding at AutoZone or...

    Let's Dress Up Those Fenders!

I've been trying to convey an idea to KewlMetal, Kuryakyn or someone to fabricate a nice dressup for the somewhat bland Spyder fenders. I mean seriously ... all of my Spyder RT-S, even without this years chrome bling is nicely accented ... UNTIL ... ya get to them fenders. Blah! I was...

Corbin RT Seat & Trunkrest - After Action

I ordered my Corbin RT Seat, Trunkrest and 02-SB backrest on May 10th ... telephone order. Design: Black leather alligator pattern, large pattern on main seat; small pattern on side panels, backrest and trunk rest. I received everything on May 26th. Talk about fast service ... order-to-pickup...

    EVO Sway Bar on RT

My only point was ... First ... there ARE aftermarket shocks for the RT series. They're made by Elka. Second, my point was, with stock shocks, one will certainly note a difference with an EVO sway bar. However, the Elka upgrade will not only be the best investment on a suspension upgrade...

    RT vs RS

RT vs RS (Kuryakyn and Kewl Metal, Are You Listening?) As an RT-S owner, it's nice to see some original owners drifting over to the RT or owning both since the RTs came out last year. This will lend some balance to the customer base, especially for aftermarket suppliers. Aftermarket is still...

    EVO Sway Bar on RT

EVO and RT as investment A huge thread last year addressed the EVO sway bar. I believe it was Lamonster who commented that the EVO is beneficial on the GS/RS, but for the RT/RT-S, etc., upgrading your front shocks to Elkas or Penskes were the far better demonstrated investment and handling...

HMT Brake Light Install - Unexpected Surprises

Interesting Responses Thanks for all the feedback. So there's a connector on both sides ... Okay, I believe it. I like ESI's instructions ... noting what to remove and what screws, etc. are involved. To echo YRider ... ESI needs to clarify those instructions, which indicate that the harness...

HMT Brake Light Install - Unexpected Surprises

I (with the helpful extra hands/eyes of my nearby bud QASAMM) got my HMT Brake Light on today. Here's a twist: The ESI instructions have you doing everything on the right side of the Spyder. Makes sense ... the light cable hole drills in on the top-right of the outer trunk cover exterior panel...

ESI HMT Brake Light and 'Pulse-On' Effect

    (1) I mis-spoke ... and (2) my HMT on Today. Good on ya, Nancy's toy. One does need the dual converter for the combo brake/running light. What I meant to say to Rocket was that it is either 'orange' for running, or 'red' for brake without the dual converter. Perhaps the dual converter is what...
