• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Ride the track

Chris, I jumped through the hoops to sign on to Can-Am's web site; giving all information short of my blood type. BUT there is nothing that points to a ride on the track on the 16th:yikes: When you see under the photo of the gray bearded dude, there is the lure to climb on there site to...

    ARMRESTS FOR MY '12 RT

Torqued Thanks for the info. The folks at Diamond R didn't go into ability to tighten the arms to reduce the swinging ability. Interestingly, we also had a brief discussion of the application of a bungee for perceived security. Ron

    ARMRESTS FOR MY '12 RT

A question.. I am thinking of getting armrests for my '12 RT from 'Diamond R' I come to understand that the armrests 'swing in, and out,' as opposed to Corbin's fixed position. I wonder of the safety issue in a cornering situation; having the passenger 'take a dive.' Any...

the BRP procedure for checking oil. Hi Scotty, I get the idea that BRP has a procedure for checking oil levels. But being a 'new guy' to the Spyder world, I can't help to think of a scenario running the scooter to operating temperature having little or no oil in the engine. My suggestion of...

    Spyder Shop Manual

Oy Veh! I have read the previous posts to your question and I had just ordered the manual for the 2012 RT ES5, some 700 odd pages for the wonderful sum of $ 175. I had went for the Greens Manual on line for like 25 bucks, but it wasn't for my year (2012) and I hate looking through a disk for...

    recommend an inexpensive Con-Carry handgun

Taurus PT-22, I was seriously looking into the PT-22 for the size, and less expensive ammo. But I heard a lot of negative things about them (misfires and stuff) Have you experienced any of that? When it comes to carrying something, size does matter.:) As a result, I went for the Micro Desert...
