• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Throttle body

I had the software updated on my 2011 RT Limited a month or so ago. Just had the throttle body itself replaced, too.

What happens when you have a break down on a trip away from home?

Your dealer can "warranty" that repair and should if it is the same problem each time. I would certainly be on the phone to Ford Motor Company about it. I know the local guys here can do it under warranty and if they can your dealer can, too if they want your business in the future.

    Mo Gang ryde to Branson

We missed out on the ride due to a bad throttle body, but most of all missed out on meeting more Spyder Ryders. (When you get lemons you make lemonade and we drove the entire Pig Trail in our Corvette via the Corvette Show in Eureka Springs and then on down Highway 23 to Ozark then over to Altus...

    ABS saved my butt

My last bike had ABS and without a doubt saved my bacon a couple of times from folks that apparently cannot see anything that has less than four wheels on it when they pull out onto a highway. I like ABS and the Spyder has a very good system, as I have had to make a couple of fast stops with...

    How to loose confidence....

Philippe, These forums are read daily by many folks selling and servicing the Spyder. That is those concerned with making the Spyder successful. Those dealers tend to be the ones with the best technicians and service support. The horror stories seem to come from places that do not have...

    Pigs tail or trail

I've always known of the Pig Trail as being Arkansas Highway 23 from Ozark (I-540 approx exit 37 or so) to Eureka Springs which is approximately 60 miles. We drove it today. You can then take a right turn onto Highway 62 and head east toward Harrison. Regards, Rich

What happens when you have a break down on a trip away from home?

Always give credit where credit is due I am a firm believer in providing praise if one is willing to offer criticism. In this case I have learned a lot about the subject of this thread and that is "What happens when you breakdown on a trip away from home." I received a call from Lev...

What happens when you have a break down on a trip away from home?

Absolutely, Bradford Marine is doing their best to get it fixed. My biggest concern is a breakdown on a trip. If I had to pull a trailer as you suggest then there would be no need for a Spyder. I have no problem with my dealer. Its just frustrating to see so many complaints.

What happens when you have a break down on a trip away from home?

I guess my biggest problem with service support is really the lack of parts maintained by dealerships for common and well known problems. The service guys are trying, but it is nowhere near what the folks up front say when making the sell. When a customers machine is down parts should at...

What happens when you have a break down on a trip away from home?

I'm beginning to believe with a Spyder you need to talk with your insurance agent about all three for coverage against breakdowns.:(

What happens when you have a break down on a trip away from home?

More disappointed than ticked off. My big concern is what happens when you have a breakdown while out away from home or when you center your vacation around the Spyder. Just last Saturday I spent at least an hour giving a potential Spyder buyer the rundown on my Spyder at BBQ at the request of...

What happens when you have a break down on a trip away from home?

Our six month old 2011 RT Limited broke down on Tuesday and had to be hauled into the shop for a suspected TPS problem. Dealer ordered new TPS via 2nd day air and then installed same today and it was not the problem, but BRP says it is likely the Throttle Body itself. So, another order via 2nd...

MOGANG Last Ride of the Year - Branson Oct 7-9, 2011, please sign

The service department at Bradford Marine in Springdale just called and said the TPS did not fix the problem and have ordered a new Throttle Body and do not expect it to arrive before next Wednesday. So, looks like we will not be ryding to Branson with ya'll tomorrow. :gaah: I just wonder what...

New wrap on front of our 2011 RT Limited

Thanks folks. I am hoping to get the rest done this winter. I think flowing flag on each side would be awesome, but would like to superimpose pictures of some of my ships, if we can get decent pictures to make it happen. I am open to suggestions. Chief Al in Pensacola helped a lot with it to...

New wrap on front of our 2011 RT Limited

Contact Pete @ PowerSportsWraps.com and he will work with you in designing anything you can think of as long as they can come up with the high definition art to make it happen. IMNSHO applying the wrap to your Spyder is definitely a job left to the professionals.

New wrap on front of our 2011 RT Limited

We wanted a military theme for our Spyder and this is what we came up with along with a great amount of assistance from Pete Ameno of PowerSportsWraps and Tom Adkins of AAA - Vector Graphics. It was applied by the folks at Chambers Sign of Bentonville, Arkansas --- not a job for a novice, as it...

Who has best price on Elkas?

Call Len @ Cowtown. Len gave me a great deal and personally adjusted them for me. He then shipped them to me and had them on my front porch waiting for me when we got home.
