• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

FS: Freedom Trailer and also separate Can Am Accessories hitch for Gen2/3 RT

@ColoradoSpyder, I assume the $350 is just for the hitch, in which case, you might want to post a price for the trailer. That done, please make sure that you read and follow the directions in the READ FIRST! Sticky (& all the posts in that thread) that's found at the top of this forum and...

My 2020 F3-T has developed Static in all its Audio - any ideas on cause? Fixes?

There's a fair bit of discussion already on the Forum about this, altho I don't know if anyone has ever arrived at a complete identification &/or all purpose solution. Still, you could always check out any applicable threads in the 'Similar threads' box below; or maybe try searching on the word...

Where can I get an STL file for 2022 RT thumb shift and blinker switch

The Forum rules have no hassles with members sharing that sort of information; but please, do not use the public pages of this Forum to discuss, advertise, &/or negotiate the sale/purchase of any goods & services in any way outside the directions in the For Sale by Owner sub-forum. You can still...

    Random thought for the day

Or is it really just one of those old press button 'fingerprint removers' that most cars used to have in &/or just above/near their ash trays?? 😣 You haven't really lived until you've dropped a hot one of those into your crutch (or down the front of your open neck shirt!) while travelling in...

Throttle body whistle from BajaRons intake system - any tips to reduce the noise?

Which Intake System?? This one maybe: https://bajarons.com/products/bajarons-custom-performance-air-box-filter-kit-jtaf-1-2009-2013-can-am-spyder-rt-998-models-only?_pos=2&_sid=9c02c2c82&_ss=r That intake ^ will ALWAYS make more induction noise than the OEM Intake, simply because...

    Welcome, Ozzyone

Welcome aboard Ozzyone! Great to see another crow-eater here on the Forum. I'm just out of town, off the SE Freeway at Mt Barker, so if you haven't already found/met some of the other South Aussie Spyder Ryders, drop me a DM. ;) (y)

Rear ACS/suspension on 2015 RT seems to have failed - anyone else? How did you address it?

I do know that it IS a good idea to add a small amount of slime to your airbag if it is slowly leaking from some pin prick holes in the load bearing parts of the airbag. I know this thru direct experience on my own Spyder, and my experiences on the many other Spyders that I've 'fixed' this way...

2015 ST Ltd: Where does your rear caliper lie?

The caliper goes in the same position on all Spyders of the same vintage, regardless of their models. So if you can find/see a pic of an RT, ST, or an RSS brake caliper that was made/sold any time between 2013 and 2016, their caliper will be oriented the same way. I'm pretty sure that all the...

What price should I be asking for a 2014 RT Limited Seat & Backrest?

It's true, seats in particular are quite hard to sell because of the freight costs to get them anywhere (you would be gob-smacked at what it costs to get one to or from Oz, so it takes a very kind vendor to get any sort of a deal over here!) Still, you could always try a 'Best Offer - you pay...

Need clarification on disconnecting the analog temp gauge - will that bring up the digital gauge?

Not quite - you need to disconnect BOTH the Temp Gauge AND the Fuel Gauge before both of those gauges will appear on the digital screen - it's a both or neither thing!! ;) That shouldn't be a biggie, cos even if you don't realise it, the analogue fuel gauge is basically a SWAG indicator that...

Please note post# 177, just a couple above yours - nothing much has changed since then in Oct '24, but maybe if you check the last visited by clicking on their avatar pics, or possibly sending a DM to all of them you might be able to identify the few who are still around and active??

What is the Correct Garmin for my '16 RT Ltd?

Garmin sell new 'base inserts & wiring kits' for the mounts inbetween the handlebars on Spyders, so he'd just hafta keep the handlebar bracket it's screwed onto, but swap out the baseplate that the 660 GPS clicks into and replace it with that for a Garmin XT or XT2. Quite a few here in Oz have...

2016 RTS Right front tire wobble/shakes - any thoughts?

You cannot 'go to the darkside' by putting car tires on a Spyder - cos they ALREADY RUN CAR TIRES! It's just that the OEM tires are lightweight and not really good car tires. 😖 And there are NO Motorcycle tires that will fit on the Spyder rims, because they are 'J' type CAR rims with 'J' type...
