• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Water Pump Ruins the season

I hope the day never comes when I have to wait for back ordered parts. I had ski doo snowmobiles from the early 90's to 2004 and never had parts issues like this. But when I think back on this, I remember my dealer would always buy up a few totaled out machines throughout the season and take...

So if one of your riders in your club, Broke down ?

Drove 500 miles to help, damn. Sure hope the person in trouble wasn't waiting on the side of the road all that time.

    Spyder racing

I was thinking about this when I was reading a post yesterday about a motorcycle rider questioning the performance and cornering ability of a spyder. I'm from Minnesota and was wondering if there are any organized spyder road racing circuits anywhere in the country. We have a world class sport...

    Any new '12's still available?

I'm from Minnesota and as of a few weeks ago there were a few around here yet. It seems with some of the issues the 2013's had that they are still asking a premium price for the 2012's. I bought my 2012 rts-se5 about this time last year for under $20,000. The prices this year are still about...

    Belt replacement

I have to think this belt is pretty comparable to a Harley Davidson belt. I ran a small stone through a Harley belt one time where it actually had a hole punched in it. I put 30,000 miles on that belt and it was still fine when I sold the bike. If you have a proper jack and are careful, you...

    Couple Oil Questions...

I can really go 9,200 miles between oil changes with Amzoil and not effect my warranty? Can anyone actually confirm this is a fact?

2 wheel GL1800 Goldwing vs Spyder fun factor question?

If I was a betting man, I'm betting this guy doesn't even own a motorcycle.

2 wheel GL1800 Goldwing vs Spyder fun factor question?

Its the small percentage of riders like the guy in the video that give us all a bad name, and the sad part is this is apparently a seasoned rider, not your normal thrill seeker type 18 yr old kid on his new crotch rocket that you would expect this adolescent behavior from. I'm all for...

    Fact or Fiction

Some nice graphic art and painting by whomever started that, it looked good to me.

    600 mile check "plug in"

I'm not saying it's the right thing to do. I have 7000+ miles and never been to the shop. I do maintain it well, but the closest thing I've seen to a code is a message that the rear trunk was open.

    Seat cushions

I like my air hawk, used it for years on a Harley too. You will notice that it raises you up slightly though.

    Engine Oil

That wasn't called for mr. Bad dog, no need to talk down to someone like that. We all appreciate what the sponsors do for the site. It does not mean we have to buy from you or we "owe" you because you are a sponsor. Keep in mind the members of the forum are also an important piece of the puzzle...

    Question??? With all respect.

This turned out to be one of the more enjoyable post's I've read on here. Had some blow joe without Harley in his name asked the same question it would of died long ago. Instead it got the attention of many, and I enjoyed all the different stories as to why we got a Spyder and what we enjoy...

    Question regarding Ipod connection

I never do. If it draws a little juice to keep the battery charged, it has to be a very small amount. Unless you don't drive it for weeks at a time I'd not worry about it.

    SRT Accessory Mount

I received an Email from Charles Faw, the manufacturer of this accessory mount / drink holder. He says he recently discovered a minor rust problem on a stainless steel part, and would be sending out a free replacement part. I commend him for taking pride in his product and company. From what...

    Question??? With all respect.

I'm 58 years old and own a 2005 Harley Electra glide Ultra and a 2012 RTS-SE5. I've probably logged somewhere between 250,000 and 300,000 miles on 2 wheels in my 50 or so years or riding, most of those miles were on a Harley. I still ride both machines now and am equally capable to ride both...

    RT Windshield question

I'm 6'1" tall. I'd have to rank my cal-si extra large vented windshield as my #2 favorite mod on my 2012 rt. I usually run it so I can just see over the top of it, but there are times when I'm going down the freeway or during rain and I'll run it so I'm looking through it. The buffeting is...

    RT Windshield question

I've cut down a few Harley windshields, the "polishing" is done with a butane torch.

    RT Windshield question

They changed that from the 2012's to help with the wind buffeting. I bought a Cal-si windshield for my 2012 that has a whole cut in the windshield and it makes a huge difference. If I had it to do over again I would of just modified my windshield with the holes like the 2013's have. If you are...
