• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

New 2013 (to us) ST-S and a couple questions.

2013 ST Note, if you have not added the heat reducing panels, do it. This is a "Good Will" move on BRP part. The panels make the 2013 look like a 2014. Your dealer can request the panels, time line about two weeks. Costs: $0.00. Good Luck

Are the Cross Country saddle bags REALLY that bad?

Saddle Bags I have found that Oxford brand makes some really nice throw over soft bags. They allow the seat to be lifted for fuel, but hold enough for a day's outing. So far my experience has beed very good. They make a full line of tank bags and such and coming from England they have proven...

    E3 vs Iridium Spark Plugs

Spark Plug If the costs are close try it, only then will the questioned be answered. For me, B.S. I have been on the planet long enough to have seen several designs that promise more power and better M.P.G. If all of the "improved" devices were to be installed into a given engine it would...

    Clutch Shocker!

Clutch shocker I have some experience with Spyders pulling trailers and using the semi-automatic clutch. More than 30,000 miles of pulling a very heavy camp trailer. The results, good, 25000 mile check indicated everything was working. I know we will have to replace the clutch at some point...

    Winter time Hand Guards

Hand Guards As an arthritis suffer I need hand protection against the cold. I have found that Oxford brand rain seal muffes are the real deal. Drive Belt Agree with BlueKnight911, check eerything. Who changed the belt and howmany miles are on the machine? If the belt is too slack it will climb over the spocket teeth under acceleration. Misalgnment of the spocket to the beltdirection albeit due to bad bearings and or failure to aline...

    Mobil oil!

Mobil Oil IMHO, Mobil One is a great oil. BMW (Autos) installs it on every new car they build. Chevolet Corvette uses the oil for the high performance engines in their cars. I know the cry will be that they are not motorcycle engines, well that is true. I have logged almost 500,000 miles using...

Rear Tire Goldie, be aware we will never suggest anything or mod that knowing put anyone in harm's way. The Kuhmo tire has been ran on my wife's bike for more than 8,000 miles, no problems. I just finished a 1100 mile trip with the same tire, perfect. Just ask, everyone will try to help. Yes...

    Vibration in Handlebars

Vibration in the handle bars I suggested the BB's, number one very cheap, Number two it works to change the vibration freq. Another suggestion is a Bar Snake, no not someone of questable character from the local bar, Bar Snakes are made of rubber and will do the same as the BBs. Coming from a...

    Vibration in Handlebars

Vibrations Correct me if [I] am wrong, but if the handlebars are hollow just put some BB's in each side. The BB's will dampen the vibration. Good Luck

LED Lighting, Is too much too much?

LED lighting too much Maybe I slept through the video, but what was his point? He talked about a Lady trying to go to Alaska and having a problem, a VCM problem. So what was the fix, problem and/or solution? He disabled a trunk light, how did he know to do that? What was the problem, bad...

    Rear drive belt

Rear Drive Belt With proper tension and alignment the belt should last well into the 100's of thousand of miles. I know of many HD riders running belts for 20 years, no wear problems, just maintaine within specs. Good Luck
