• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Corbin Trendsetters

My copper Spyder made it on page 5 .. although I've since removed the spider decals on the front.... This must have been when Old Man Spyder owned it -- prabaly taken in San Jose this summer.

does anyone have the carbin fairing

I've got the Corbin fairing also. It does an excellent job of wind protection. Some folks don't like the looks, but their Spyders aren't copper, either..

So I see them on EBay, but what the heck is your reserve on these -- I've been popping the price up and have yet to hit your reserve. ??

    Widow Pegs Installation

If you want to keep the stock pegs, then after you remove them, take the pin retention washer to a good hardware store and pick up a new one. Actually, it should pop off and fly across your garage in pretty good condition. Yes, you'll want the spring back on.:2thumbs:

Two Brothers single pipe: How much louder is it than the Hindle?

Having had a carbon fiber Two Bros pipe which blew up, I would say 2 things: 1. it is WAY louder than the Hindle; 2. Two Bros does not sell that pipe any more because of problems they;ve had with it -- mainly, it blows up. I'd recommend you save your cash and get the dual pipe -- they do still...

C.H.A.D. vs CAL SCI vs CORBIN wind deflectors

I have the Corbin fairing, Kewlmetal risers and replacement center console and non-stock bars. No problem at all with risers, so I don't know what the problem is. :hun: I get no buffeting and the ride is smooth. In fact, a little less air than I am used to. Expensive and looks interesting...

Now I remember why I stopped buying this

Luckily, the issue of Motorcyclist with this awful review is my last issue. I long ago decided to let the sub run out. I prefer Rider, although even their review didn't do the Spyder justice. I would have liked to see a review comparing the Spyder to some of the Harley or Gold Wing trikes. I...

    Passenger Arm Rest

I also had armrests on my VTX -- the Ultimate one. No way will they fit on the Spyder with either standard backrest or the Corbin. The Corbin is too low to seem to attach much of anything. My wife is not sure she wants them - she says she has to hold on when I go around curves or else she'll...

    Help-Changing back to stock exhaust

Glad to hear you like it loud! Just put the P1 silencer in and it is now tolerable.......barely. I may add a custom silencer if I can get to a hardware store tomorrow...Also, there is the distinct possibility that it needs a repack. BTW, found that to remove break the Hi-temp silicone seal at...

    Help-Changing back to stock exhaust

Thanks for sharing your experience. I'm going to try a repack to see if I can quiet it down. The wife has invested in earplugs. Also going to Google high-temp silicone removal to see what shows up..

    Help-Changing back to stock exhaust

I've got a Two Brothers pipe on and it is way TOO LOUD - ca't hear myself think! I've tried the P1R silencer -- no help. Have the P1 on order but don't think it will silence enough. I was looking to remove the pipe and put the stock pipe back on. However, I notice that there is no header...
