• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    What's your best mod?

almost had me stumped... Man. I love these old threads :) So many good replies and lists. So... the “Best” Mod. Most of you have mod counts nearing the triple digits (across multiple cycles...) but I’m still a new rider, and haven’t made many changes (...yet). I kind of read the...

SpyderExtras F3 Front Grille Guard users - Thoughts? Opinions?

@Troop. I FEEL YA BUDDY. I was slinkin around online & randomly came across this back in Nov lastyear. debated. debated. debated some more. Then said the hell with it, bought it. Came in a nice giant double box, & quadruple wrapped. I’ve never had a safer padded shipment in MY...

    Find Original Dealer

I agree with Wmoater, excellent suggestions. A random search for your VIN number online/CARFAX/etc often turns up some good info. Longshot- It may not have come with your Spyder, but if you have it- check you Owners manual. I actually had a business card tucked in my booklet from the original...

    2019 RT Catches on Fire

:agree: Well,1st off- Thank God the guy is OK. It was all terrible, but a Son could have lost his Father. Spyder was a year old. Man. What a shame. And having to stand there & watch it... burn. down. to the frame... :gaah: I’m with you ARtravler, News was really “selling” that news. And I...

    Is this the first Spyder

:roflblack: I cheated, and twisted my monitor sideways too HAHAAhaha. I do it for work all the time. @Partzman23 THANK YOU SO MUCH. What a find. Forney Museum of Transportation? Hope this exhibit is still there by the time I can make it out! This is a solid piece of history right here...

2021 Road Trips, who's going where?

Papa103- good call, always nice to look forward to new adventures. I’m still a noobie myself, and getting my roadlegs under me. but I’ve got my eyes set on re-visting the curvy joys & scenery in West ‘ByGod Virginia. Something terribly satisfying about hugging those roads that have been barely...

Has anyone added better a/mkt heated grips to an F3-L?

There was 1 (of a dozen probably) similar threads with points about the lack of “great” F3 heated grips (with RT effectiveness/heat levels). I too am looking for something better than the ‘F3 Heated Grip’ available, and been eyeing RT Heated grips. If they’ll fit/work. Some discussion here as...

    Phoenix from the fire

Absolutely man. You should NEVER have to “live with it”. Your insurer doesn’t have to “live with” getting 3/4 of a payment, so you shouldn’t have to “live with” a less than original matching part. Great Vid, glad you your PhoenYx is running again. ...and Stay Away from Walls...

Congratulations! Looks like YOU WIN BLACK FRIDAY :) Its a gorgeous machine. You made the RYGHT Choice! I’ve only had mine for a month, and I still just sit and catch myself staring at mine sometimes. Sorry to hear about Salty Snowy roads. Definitely not your friend. Newbie to Newbie- All the...

Helmets - which style do you prefer & why?

FortNine has a lot of good info, watched a few videos after I randomly stumbled across their channel a while back. I use a Modular (“LS2” brand, DOT+ECE cert), and Full Face (“Shoei”, DOT+Snell), and bounce between them. Both with old Sena20s comm’s models attached. The Sena’s are my MUST HAVE...

Any Experience with Wide View Convex side mirrors for F3Limited

Ohh and Terrance! Thats... kinda interesting. Based off the dimensions, its just leaves too little clearance (for my taste) for my hand to open my F3-T glovebox (up top on the 2019’s), without knocking it. Best guess is that it might also block a bit too much of the road ahead (I taped a...

Any Experience with Wide View Convex side mirrors for F3Limited

Really like all the feedback in this thread. Only been riding a month, and this blind spot issue is a constant thorn. Checked around ...pictures ...videos ...never saw much to win my confidence that the “30% more” was worth the price. In fact, had very similar feelings as ThreeWheels on the...

2016 F3-T saddlebag break.. Am I going to be forced to replace it?

 I haven’t snapped/busted anything on my Spyder yet (“...give it time” methinks) But something tells me I should pick this up, and experiment (on something around the house), so I’m ready when the dreaded day comes. Used some epoxy with much success a few years ago (busted appliances)...

Spider Loaded in Toy Hauler ready to leave for Florida

Lived North of the MasonDixon Line “growing up”, but wanted to see more of the country & eventually moved to Florida (amoung others). Lived on both sides of the Sunshine State, Gulf Coast & Gold Coast. And made a dozen visits to KeyWest. It was all amazing for a few years. Great Sunsets, Fun...

    Heated Grips - Warm Enough?

I’ve had my eyes on the F3 Heated Grips for a few weeks, as I knew cold weather was approaching. I don’t even have them, but given what I’ve researched (Pricy $$$, 1 setting only, not as warm as the RT, etc...), I’m not seeing a promising return on this particular ...umm “upgrade”. I like your...
