• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Compressor/Airbag system

Compressor connector info needed... So, now I am in contact with the fine folks at Viair and they are considering making direct replacements for us. However, I need to give them information on the original connector used on the BRP EOM compressor. Anyone have one of these out who can get me the...

    Compressor/Airbag system

Thanks Doc For what it's worth, I just ordered the Air Ryde Guard and cat spring tool. However.... now that you mention that YOU have a small leak in your airbag...I'm hoping at least the guard did it's job??? Did you find you had to turn the compressor output 180 degrees to match the stock...

    Compressor/Airbag system

SO, pursuant to a former post of mine, the compressor died and there is probably a leak somewhere. I'm not really happy about any of that considering it's JUST out of warranty. I don't really trust my local Spyder dealer to do anything but install that same crap compressor, air bag, valves, and...

    Oil change!

Drain before storage / fill when ready to use ...NOT As PMK stated, oil eventually ends up with corrosives "acids" in it. Oil is made to "stick" to metal parts with which it comes in contact. Therefore, the highly contaminated oil will stick to the metal parts until you dilute it with fresh...

    Cat Bypass Tips and Review

I read about loosening the mid pipe but wasn't sure how far up the clamp was. I was working with my Spyder up on a two-ramp car lift and then jacked up off of it a few inches. I couldn't immediately see that clamp and didn't want to mess with the O2 sensor/wires so just left it be. It wasn't too...

    Cat Bypass Tips and Review

Received a catalytic convertor bypass pipe from the appropriate SpyderLovers vendor (I believe it was from Lamonster but it was ordered and received many weeks ago) for my 2014 RT-S. It was a super-quality piece of work with all the right curves, hangers, and swaged ends to be an exact...

    Compressor Woes...

Thank you all for the input. At this time it could be the compressor, needing a BUDS reset, overweighting conditions, or a sensor issue. I gotta check the warranty and see if I'm willing to take it to the dealer. I don't really trust any in my area...not that there is any in my area.

    Compressor Woes...

Frank G: Thank you for your reply. I did recently change the rear tire but, removed the position sensor linkage per, Bob’s (Finless’) video instructions before removing the lower shock mount so, shouldn’t have been an issue. I rechecked the connection and it’s still good. I also mentioned...

    Compressor Woes...

So, I have a 2014 RT-S with the adjustable air shock in the rear. Got about 9K miles on it (the Spyder) when this suddenly started happening. I hear the compressor running, quitting, running, quitting a LOT while riding 2up. When I ride alone, I don't notice it doing this and it didn't do it...

Dumb spare tire for Spyder trailer question.....

Soooo.... You all carry spare trailer tires because they are more problematic than the front Spyder tires? ...even though it seems more logical to carry a front Spyder tire? You carry a trailer tire and a trailer tire blows, you change tire and go on your way. You carry a trailer tire and a...

Dumb spare tire for Spyder trailer question.....

Not so much "worry".... Well, I'm not too happy hearing that the ride-on didn't work for you. But, probably not as un-happy as you were to have had that happen. I'm not really worried about a flat so much as curious why folk who carry a spare in their trailers, take up that space to carry a...

Dumb spare tire for Spyder trailer question.....

"this"?? I'm not sure which "this" you are speaking of but if you are referring the carrying of said spare tire, poke around here on some of the RT 622 threads and you will see what I'm talking about. It CAN be done which lead me to my question. WHY would you want to?

Dumb spare tire for Spyder trailer question.....

Wild....at the moment... I HAVE been walking on the WILD side but, I'm a believer in not "planning to fail". "Be Prepared"... it's a Boy Scout thing I've not been willing to shake.

Dumb spare tire for Spyder trailer question.....

....that's what I thought... Thanks for the replies. There are many who carry spare trailer tires and I'm waiting to hear why that is a good idea from one of them. This past weekend was the first time I hitched up my trailer and .....I LOVE having it along! (my wife does too as she rides along...

Dumb spare tire for Spyder trailer question.....

So, many folks on here who have a trailer to pull behind their Spyders (usually the RT 622 trailer) seem to gravitate toward carrying a spare tire for said trailer. My question is, IF you had the ability to carry around an extra tire on a rim, wouldn't it be more wise to carry a FRONT Spyder...

RT 622 Trailer lock cylinder change (without key for currently installed cylinder)

Just a quickie... Anyone needing to change RT 622 trailer lock cylinders just follow the 2 (or more) videos on YouTube. When you get to the part where you are actually removing the cylinder, insert your current (wrong) key all the way and then push down on the little tang on the back side to...

    Gas Octane YOU USE

How much does the "hose hold"!!!??? I run 91 or as close as I can find but have had to run 89 and 87 a time or two with no issues. But here is the BIG question. In a "normal" fill up, we are usually putting in 3 or 4 to 4.5 gallons. The guy before you at the gas pump most likely filled up...
