• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2017 Spyder Homecoming - GPX files for the 5 Organized BRP Rides

Gazunni, I downloaded your .GPX files into Basecamp. The routes would not work right (no doubt because they were not created on a Garmin Device). The tracks however worked correctly. So I created New Routes from the tracks that will work correctly with the Garmin Zumo GPS's (I am using a 590)...

2017 Spyder Homecoming - GPX files for the 5 Organized BRP Rides

Thanks so much for posting these, will download them to my GPS tomorrow. I do not know why other "events" we have rode on do not make these available. I remember a couple of years back a bunch of us got separated on a SpyderQuest ride. No one knew where to go. Fortunately a ride captain...

Is this normal for a front Pulley/Sprocket?

Swapped out the BRP idler for Doc's idler and noticed this today. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aP9JX20dog8&feature=youtu.be The bolt that retains the front pulley/sprocket is not running true. The bolt is tight and the pulley does not appear to have excessive run out , but does have some. I...

I got the new Magic Mirror Magnest Wahooooooooo!!!

Bob, I held the stack in my left hand, wrapped my right hand around the left hand, and slid each magnet off the stack with my right thumb and index finger. And hell I only have 4 fingers on that hand, if I could do it anyone can. :roflblack: I kept all my built stacks way, way from each...

I got the new Magic Mirror Magnest Wahooooooooo!!!

Installed mine today, install was easy and quick.:2thumbs: Did one side at a time and the magic mirror side had noticeable less movement then the BRP side. I stress tested them after they were on and honestly think the magnets are stronger then the brp top clip is. Got a real good look at the...

PMK, I am glad someone else agrees with me, here is a PM I sent doc a couple of days ago; "The sleeve you are using slips through the inside of the bearing. The sleeve I am talking about would be larger in diameter then the sleeve you are using and would contact the entire inner race of both...

My Spyder is in LyMp Mode HELP!

Just for giggles, how is the brake fluid level? In a car when you force the caliper piston in it usually causes the master cylinder reservoir to become overfilled. Then when you apply the brake the fluid gets low again as the caliper piston extends outward to apply pressure on the pads. Good...

Windshield arm replacement problem. Thoughts requested

Gary, If you wait until you get the removal wedges with the Noboot arm, remove the arm with the sheared screw in place. After you remove the gear, you may have enough of the exposed screw to grab with a pair of vise grips and unscrew it. Good Luck, Louie

Windshield arm replacement problem. Thoughts requested

Hello, You need a pozidriv #2 Philips screwdriver. A standard #2 Philips will not fit the screw properly. You may be able to get a set of needle nose vise grips on the screw. Good Luck, Louie
