• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Looking for 2 things regarding floorboards

Fred is a 2010 RT with a manual transmission. I would like to add some floorboards. I am looking for a spacer which will essentially raise the brake pedal. I am also looking for some boards that will fit with the manual transmission. I know these are out there. I just seem to be looking in the...

    My weekend...

First of all, let me say my wife is the ISH! So last week I'm riding along and the overheating light comes on along w/ limp home mode. This happened after about 5 minutes of riding in 60 degree weather. The temp gauge needle did not move during this. It was right about halfway. So I turned...

A mistake I'll never make again

Being relatively new to motorcycles, I actually thought the manufacturer's hand grips were a standard size across all motorcycles, so the foam grips would all work. The ones I bought were a bit smaller circumference size. Therefore, way more difficult to install them on Fred.

A mistake I'll never make again

I wanted to get some foam grips for Fred. I watched videos on how easy they are to install. I bought some off Amazon, because I buy so much stuff off Amazon. Well, the grips I bought were too small. I didn't realize it until I tried putting them on Fred. I tried for about 20 minutes before...

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Replace the tiny brake with a full sized brake.:2thumbs: Fought and fought with the foam grips until they wiped me out. I took the end cap off, used the hand sanitizer liberally, but was unable to get the grip over the end of the hand grip to where i would be able to twist and turn it to...

    Brake pedal position

I've seen several threads on here about brake pedal position, but they are all about how the pedal is too high. On my 2010, the pedal is about even with the foot peg. I want to see if it is possible to raise it some. Currently when riding, I can really only put the ball of my foot on the peg...

Packing the RT for a trip

I have never had to pack the RT for a 3 day trip. Ryding from Phoenix to Vegas for March Madness. I will be staying in a hotel. I've been thinking about flying but the scenery is so nice in Northern Arizona that I want to ryde. Ok, I do not have a luggage rack on the trunk. My options are the...

    Spare key needed

I just recently moved and seem to have lost/misplaced my spare key. About how much is it to have another key made? Can they make a key from another key or do they need that code thingy, which was on the lost/misplaced keychain? I hate moving! Is there not a delete function on here somewhere...

    $200 for an oil change?

If I wasn't afraid I would break something and turn a $200 job into a $2000 job while not injuring myself, I would do it.

    $200 for an oil change?

Does that sound right from a dealer? What happened to the $19.95 I paid for a car?

    Low oil light

How sensitive is this gauge/sensor? It came on twice. I checked the oil level. It was barely below full. I did add a little bit of oil to my Spyder. The light has not come back on since. I was told get the oil changed every 3k miles. I have only put 2k on it since getting it.
