• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Frunk won't latch. Need help.

Mine does that now and then after I take something out of the frunk that was a tight fit like my helmet. The gasket will pull loose and interfere with the lid closing and or latching. Look at it carefully it's black on black. I just get it back on the lip and all is well, keep thinking I might...

    Pull behind motorcycle trailers ??

I bought a Piggbacker XL this spring. Good bunch of folks, kept me informed on shipping etc. Always answered any questions I had promptly. Assembly went pretty much as described in the instructions (yes, you should read them) Getting it and the Spyder to talk to one another has been something of...

    Best seat cushion

Are any of these Spyder specific? I know Inspector Gadget had worked with one maker for a fitted sheepskin do any of the other makers have Spyder specific cushions or gel pads? Or do you have to measure the seat and get the closest size. I've tossed a fake fleece dog bed (not padding) on the...

having a Spyder and being Married

Us Too It'll be 44 years in August for Linda and me. When I got the Spyder last October and she got her MP3/500 we thought we'd ride together, but she never could get comfortable on the MP3 so together was 2 up. Then in April she found and bought a 2013 Ural Tourist and we're usually out for...

Anybody doing the Bikes, Bridges and Blues in Eaton Saturday?

Just wondering if I'll see any other Spyders there. The weather is supposed to be good 80 and partly cloudy. The better half is riding her Ural and we figure to make a day of it. Ride safe,

Need advice choosing a real time GPS tracker.

Or you could get a ham radio license With a technician license you can use the APRS tracking system. We use them at public service events to track our folks and sometime the head and tail of the event. Great system and darn near fool proof. Besides Ham radio just adds to the fun.;) Ride safe,

Sorry you could be with us My first and hopefully not my last Rolling Thunder. Quite and experience. Three of us left Thursday and stopped in Grafton, WVa over night at a state park camp ground. The biker's "CODE" of friendly hello's? NOT today!!!!

Double Takes When we ride together the Wife on her Ural and I on the Spyder I usually let her lead. She's a little newer at this than I and she still sets a pretty good pace and we try to never be in a hurry. She usually manages to wave at on coming riders, if her left hand isn't busy shifting...

    If I did this right..

Me Too Did the hi tail light about a month ago and the Rivo flag mount last week. Like the mount went on just the way they said and didn't need adjusting. Nice to have a quality product that works like it should.

A DEALER TO REMEMBER .. Off the charts GOLD STAR SERVICE

Seems strange that there's a part on one of our machines that doesn't cost over $150. If that's a warranty repair you need I'd think Dealer/BRP would be anxious to a) get it done and b) get good feed back. Just sayin' ya know,

    Oil Usage ?

Like one of the responders said "more art than science". That said somewhere in my wanderings the other day I saw mention of someone who had their dipstick marked as to where the oil should be in a cold engine. I think of course now I can't find the thread again, not even sure which forum it was...

A Question for California Spyder Riders

I was out at the wife's Ural dealer today and met a gentleman and his wife who were there picking up a new Ural Gear UP. He said that he had heard that California requires a separate endorsement for three wheels and that it didn't mater what your home state's requirement are you had to have it...
