• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Sad news for Kung Fu fans

It's simple... he found out that he wasn't getting 1 of 500 Phantoms, his dealer wouldn't be able to fix the GPS, he couldn't find the right windshield and ... BUDDS wasn't going to be available for him to buy. :roflblack: I'm going to my room now!!!

    Rear Tire Installed - $$$$$ !!!

I'm usually the one who comes to folks defense when they're being picked on. It's usually their own fault because they have an off the wall opinion on a subject. However, they usually carry on enjoying the Spyder Lovers forum and participate actively in other threads and topics. You, Nater1...

Do the dealers really know what they are doing.

This is exactly why it's so important for us forum users to pass on information, both good and bad, with regards to fixes, mods or alterations or any other issues so that we have more knowledge to then pass on to the dealers. Most, like the one I work at, are willing to be pointed in the right...

Meeting with BRP rep. tomorrow...what questions need to be addressed?

Moi? I haven't got the foggiest idea of what you're suggesting! LOL :roflblack: On a serious note, though! I am trying to get an answer to the camber issue, my tech and I are working to solve the mystery.

Does your dealer actually own a spyder?

Actually, I became an employee before I got my Spyder, because they knew they would have "problems" with me as a customer LOL. :roflblack: The General Manager, she's 5' 0" , rydes one as well, and loves it, too.

    tire problem, anyone else?...advice?

Don't appologize for getting testy..., we are all very passionate here. I'm an owner, and a salesman with a reputation for being enthusiatic about the Spyder and a service writer... I demand that my tech knows what he's doing on my unit too. The only way he knows what to do... apart...

    tire problem, anyone else?...advice?

Wow, I'm kinda glad you aren't near my shop. We've sold 12 Spyders, regularily service 2 or 3, mine is there all the time because I work there... and yet, my tech (who's a master technician on almost any motorsport product) still has to ask me what people on the forum are having fixed and why...

    tire problem, anyone else?...advice?

Thanks, Scotty, for putting it the way you did. There is absolutely nothing concrete from BRP to explain how to stop the wearing out of the inner or outer edge of the front tires... except for the suggestion that uneven wear is caused by aggressive riding! GUILTY as charged...

    tire problem, anyone else?...advice?

Firefly, no one has said that toe adjustment can't be done, what is at question here is... can the camber be adjusted? Well, the service manual that is sitting on my desk... an authorized, Spyder service dept, with trained technicians... does not tell me how to adjust the camber. Again, would...

    tire problem, anyone else?...advice?

Would you be so kind as to point me in the direction of a dealer that has, in fact, adjusted the camber on the front wheels of a Spyder. The only dealer on Vancouver Island hasn't done it yet. The tech, who is quite educated, can't find a way to adjust mine. BRP tech advice told him that uneven...
