• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Looks Great! I'm curious; How many coats did you end up putting on? I've done some of the pieces on my RT and used 4 coats. While the 4 coats were smooth on some parts, it was a bit rough on others. I'm thinking I'm going to add more coats which should make it smoother. Also, did you apply...

    2014 RT-S MPG Report for Texas (V2.0)

    Mileage Updated. As you can see (Look at the first post), mileage has been consistent around 43 MPG for the past few hundred miles since I changed to the sport shield. This is also all city driving; running stoplight to stoplight. We have yet to take a highway or Back Country road trip since...

    LED cost Dont get riped!

    :nopic: I would like to see how and where you mounted the lights, and what the projection is like. I've been using LED driving/fog lights for the past few years on my bikes (both previous bikes). They use a fraction of the energy the traditional bulbs use. Basically energy creates heat...

    1st = Plunk / Reverse = Kerplunk

    I have never had a problem with this. Mine too has always gone in smooth to another gear, if leaving a gear. I was refering to that inital gear entry after starting up the trike. However, this was explained as a spinning engine engaging non-spinning gears, which will almost always cause a...

    LED Mirror Turn signal lights

    FWIW, the retail price on that little cover is $85-$100 depending on the one you need (RT/RT-S/RT-L). It's almost like they knew this was going to be a highly sought after item. I say this because it shouldn't cost more than $20, and if that were the case, I wouldn't care about the fact that...

    LED Mirror Turn signal lights

    Bogie, I'm guessing your refering to the cover that is behind the mirror and above the turn signal. If this is the case, there are no clear instructions on removing this cover. In fact, from my personal experience, it appears that BRP intended on this cover being installed, but never removed...

    HID issues

    I never spoke of a specific brand. I was speaking in general terms. Secondly, you are not accurate on your information. The fog lights (which what I was referencing, but did not know someone was going to be picking apart my every sentence) are 35W. I know this for a fact because I just...

    HID issues

    To elaborate: The juice needed to start up the HID is more than 35W. However, the stock wiring, relay, fuse, etc... is only designed to deliver 35W, as that is what the OEM bulbs require. You can purchase a kit that will deliver the power straight from the battery through a relay, thus not...

    atenna

    It's hard to put a price on improved reception though ;) I can say that the reception on the Toyota antenna is as good if not better than OEM. The design of it is much better than the one from Wal Mart. Changing the antenna is a bit of a hassle, so I believe that spending a few more dollars...

    Frunk Release Force

    Open the Frunk and remove the black plastic covers on the corners (mainly the one port side). Look at the cable at the retainer (cable will be exposed at this point) and see if the cable runs straight to the lock, or if it runs inward (at about a 45 degree angle). If it is at an angle, this is...

    THE S PLUG CANAL EARBUDS Help of Review??

    I've always wanted to try them but could never justify the price. However, for $8.55, no other in-ear headphone comes close to these in performance and in-helmet comfort: http://www.amazon.com/Philips-SHE3590BK-10-Discontinued-Manufacturer/dp/B007TRUTZS I've been using them for months now on...

    My RT is Jacked Up!

    Thanks for the extra info Jim. I'll keep the information about the bolt in case I see any future issues with it. By the way, did that happen after repeated lifts, or after only one lift? I'm not going to change the tire out until I need it. I'm curious to see what kind of mileage I can get...

    Frunk Release Force

    My 2014 RT-S doesn't have an electric frunk release, so turning the key in my entry in. The force exerted to open it has always been pretty great. When the dealer went through this training with me, I noticed even the Service Manager had a hard time with it, but he didn't seem concerned at...

    1st = Plunk / Reverse = Kerplunk

    Whenever I first put my RT-S (Automatic) into gear (either Reverse or 1st) after startup, I get a hard plunk or kerplunk (depending on which gear). It doesn't matter if I am starting it up for the first time in days, or starting it up after having just making a pitstop at a store, getting gas...
