• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Oil Leak.

I removed the the cover and I would guess not more than 1/4 quart ran out. I didn't measure but not that much to clean up. Did not have extra O ring so cleaned up this one, filter cover and replaced. No more leak. I must not have had it clean the first time. Thanks for the help.

    Oil Leak.

Changed oil on the RT-S SE5 friday and have had a leak since. Just now found it. Coming from the transmission filter cover. So the question is when I take the filter cover off how much oil can I expect to run out? Just what's in the filter and cover or do I need to drain the oil tank?:gaah:

    Oil change spills...

I usually have the same problem but yesterday when I changed oil I loosely stuffed two paper towels under the trans filter and they absorbed the oil that ran out. I do change the transmission filter last. Maybe I just got lucky but I will try this again next oil change.

Stupid things I've done on a road trip

OK Lamont. Here it is. I asked for help cause I couldn't get the brake caliper off. Had removed the two 13mm bolts but it wouldn't budge. I just realized I had not released the PARKING BRAKE. Released the brake and it almost fell off by itself:duh:
