• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    My Spyder Wheels!!!

They have agreed to pay for the fix. How come you decided to switch to the 195 width? I thought I remembered another post of yours stating you went with 205. Either one works with the nanny, I was just curious that's alll.

Just came back in from the garage... Fenders are gone.

    Ride Wright Wheels

They are custom cut, but this is one of the designs they have ready to put in the CNC machine. However, they will take customer designs and make any wheel you choose. With your creativity and ability, I'm sure the possibilities are endless. :2thumbs:

    Ride Wright Wheels

Yeah, I think I'm going to have to ditch the fenders as suggested. I'll look around for something that looks more the part. I'd like to find a decent plastic or fiberglass fender that covers the whole tire. I have plenty of time since it will take a bit of time for my pocket book to recover.

    Ride Wright Wheels

After a day of polishing out the gouges left by a heavy handed tire tech, I have my wheels mounted on the spyder. I'll have to wait for another day to test them out. It's raining cats and dogs in the north KC area today. Thanks again to the folks at Ride Wright Wheels. :2thumbs:

    My Spyder Wheels!!!

Well, I took my wheels to the local NTB and they put a couple of gouges in them. It made me sick. They have an alloy wheel repair guy they typically cantract with, so they will see if they can get them fixed. I am completely irate at the moment! :cus:

Check the specs for the BRP stuff. I know some different types of anti-freeze do not mix well.

    My Spyder Wheels!!!

I just received my wheels from Ride Wright Wheels. I'm going to have tires mounted on Saturday, so I'll post pics in the mean time. I can't say enough about the wonderful service I received from Sam and the crew at Ride Wright. The wheels are 17x7 bare aluminum, highly polished. I'm going...

I agree entirely. I think you were more effective at making the point I was trying to. :2thumbs:

    Spyder DRAG RACING

And there are several two wheelers that will smoke the Spyder.... I see a pattern. Again, I love my spyder, but it is far from the baddest thing on the road. Lets not exaggerate.

    Spyder DRAG RACING

Your source must have omitted the corvette. I know the Z06 is at least that quick, and the base model is not too far behind. Car and Driver clocked a Z06 at 3.6. Both models can be had for far less than 100K. I'm pretty sure there are other cars out there that are that quick. Our spyders...

    Missing Air Dam Experience

It was already mentioned in this thread that mileage does not matter. I had to replace mine before I ever hit 1000 miles. I replaced them again at around 4500 with the honda pieces. I've only gone about 1000 mi since then, but I inspected the exhaust this weekend and everything was pretty...

    KewlMetal Perfomance Air Filter Kit

I purchased the Kewl Metal filter this spring. It is a bit louder, but it is not louder than my Leo Vince exhaust. My spyder still sounds good in my opinion. I didn't notice any great performance gain. If anything, it ran a little worse, at first. It made the fuel mixture pretty lean. I...

    Looking for new grips...

I chose to go with the xoprodox grips. They have worked out quite well. They sleeve the bar, so you can use a larger grip. It feels much nicer than stock. I also added a throttle rocker to make the throttle side more comfortable.

juice box settings...which ones work for you and why?

Go ahead and install. You can get it set without the green filter. Then you will probably only have to tweak it slightly once you add that. If you are already experiencing any indications that it's running lean, it will benefit you immediately. We're not programming launch codes here. It is...

    Lowered spyder

I agree totally when talking about a motorcycle that leans in the corners. The spyder, however, keeps the same height and gravity center while cornering. Ask anyone that's lifted a wheel and had the nanny kick in while turning, and I think they'd agree with my assessment. Is he going to gain...

    Lowered spyder

I think you could use the air ride system to achieve the look you are after while the spyder is parked, and pump it back up to a suitable ride height while moving. You would certainly need a guage to get it to the same ride condition everytime, but it is doable. PM crucified and search his...

    OK...WHAT IS THIS?

I'm also curious, so I'm going to reply to keep this thread alive. I'd really like to know. I'm not sure I like the wide motorcycle tire back there, because you can see from the wear that the contact patch is actually pretty narrow. However, I bet you could put a conventional tire of the same...
