• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Zumo 665 - What's Needed to Install to a 2012 RT SE5

I received my GPS City order and mounted my XM antenna to the new dash mount 1" Ram ball I just installed (thanks Lamont). Unlike Dave's XM antenna, mine did not come with any double sided tape. The bottom of mine has a rubber type cover adhered to it. I used a 3" Ram arm on the dash ball...

Lamont Ram Ball Attachment to Dash

Just a heads up, on my 2012 RT-S I was able to mount the Ram 'B' ball (RPR351WBBF) to the dash without too much issue. I did one side at a time. I removed the speaker grill. I drilled out the Ram ball for a 6 mm stainless allen head bolt (beefier). I placed the 6 mm bolt thru the Ram ball...

    Zumo 665 - What's Needed to Install to a 2012 RT SE5

I will need to take a closer look at the bottom of my antenna. It has a foam pad on the bottom, perhaps it is removable. I could then attach it to same spot that you have. Thanks!

    Zumo 665 - What's Needed to Install to a 2012 RT SE5

What did you use to attach the antenna to the wind deflector? I tried some heavy duty velcro with its own adhesive and the foam on the bottom of the antenna would not stick to the velcro.

Chance Meeting with a SpyderLovers Member in Indiana

I was over to Ft Wayne IN today and decided to also go over and find Spyder City (RT Sales) in Zulu IN, to check out their store. While there I tried on some Can Am jackets, Nolan 102 helmets and BRP helmets. They had a nice Lava Bronze Limited, a Red and 2 Blue RT's on the showroom floor...

    Zumo 665 - What's Needed to Install to a 2012 RT SE5

Finally had enough time to install the Zumo 665 on my RTS SE5. The resources here made the task much easier to do. This was my first time removing the tupperware. I did end up removing more than I needed to do the dash top install, however it was a learning experience. I was unsure how the dash...

    New Oil Filter and Cap.

The oil filter is a new style/material, to the best of my knowledge. If you have the SE5 then it is the transmission filter and cap that are a new size. My dealer already had them available. Have fun in Durango!

600 Mile Service with New Style Filters

I just got home from picking up my 2012 RT-S SE5 from my dealer after it's 600 mile (880 miles) service. I dropped it off last night and picked it up on the way home. I was able to get the 600 mile service included for free with the purchase ($262.50 was on the initial invoice tonight, which...

    Installing the smoothspyder Belt Tensioner

Well, nice to read someone else has recumbent trikes (bicycles) here. We have a tandem trike, 2 single trikes and my favorite, a Strada Velomobile. The tadpole configuration of my trikes goes well with my RT-S SE5. David

    600 Maintenance?

Hey Vampyregirl, I was at Honda East on Thursday to pick up the GPS harness I ordered. I saw 4 or 5 Spyders sitting in the service area. I'm scheduled for the 600 mile service this next Wednesday (06/06). I'll keep an eye out to meet you someday. I'm in Waterville. David

Any Videos on Seal Floorboards install

I sent John a message asking the same thing. He replied he was working on a solution to this issue. I'm looking forward to a resolution, as I would like to use the Sealboards, however my wife needs the passenger floorboards at the top of their adjustment. David

    Zumo 665 - What's Needed to Install to a 2012 RT SE5

660 versus 665 Harness The info I have found is that the 660 original harness is now replaced by the 665 harness, it is backwards compatible with the 660. Garmin apparently sent out some old stock 660 harnesses in the past, but has stopped and the supply chain now has the 665 harness. Don't...
