• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Very interesting trailer

Trailers The utility trailer presents one problem. The bed height is 18 inches high. The ramp length is 48 inches long. My Spyder RT ground clearance is four and one half inches. To load my RT on a level utility trailer without scraping the bottom of the bike, auxiliary ramps eight feet long...

Speed There are some that believe the posted speed limit is just a suggestion. If you need to go faster, maybe you should have left earlier.

    Owner's Manual

Manual I keep the hard copy in the Spyder. I have the factory service manual from Green Manuals on eBay. It came with the owner's manual, accessories catalog, flat rate manual, on-line parts catalog and more. Great investment. I like having service/owner manuals on the computer. When I need to...

    ACE Shift Point

Shift I'm a Spyder newbie myself(2015 RT SM6 in Oct.). However, I have been shifting with my left foot since 1966. The ECO shift points felt a bit low to me also. 3000-3500 feels and sounds a whole lot better to me. I sincerely doubt that the 1300 Rotax will notice the additional rpms.

    Not a happy camper!

Bummer Believe me, I know it sux to be ill. However, at least you are in one of the most beautiful places on the planet. It really sucks to be ill and have to worry about moving a couple feet prof snow.

    1330 RPM range

Shifting I got my first Spyder(2015 RT SM6) in October. The ECO mode was on when it arrived. I rode for a while and shifted when the green arrow came on. I feared that by not doing so would bring the wrath of NANNY down on me. It seemed that the ECO mode wanted me to shift way too low in the...

    Cycleworld F3 T and F3 Limited Review

Kudos Cycle World has presented an objective review of the Spyder. They owe allegiance to no brand no matter how many wheels it has. Their only interest to to let the consumer know what is available and the pros and cons as they seethem. After reading this article I suspect there may be a few...

    The ignorance of some people…

Maybe they just need a hug. NAHHH I am not a psychiatrist nor do I play one on TV. However, I am an observer and a student of the human condition. It is my opinion that these comments are the mindless ramblings of insecure and jealous individuals. Sadly they feel that they have no recourse but...

    Lesson learned

Digital display washout I have seen no empirical evidence which supports any hypothesis as to the combination of light and heat that initiates digital display washout. Maybe the engineers as BRP can help.

    Lesson learned

The misses and I rode the RT to Tarpon Springs, Fl today. We did the usual tourist things. When we got ready to leave I put the key in the ignition, turned it to the "ON" position and had an immediate major pucker.....Nothing on the digital display! The bike started but still no screen. The...

    Has anyone seen these?

I was just surfing the internet and I saw the most "interesting" 3-wheeler on the "Autoblog" web site. I do not know how to post pictures on the blog so go to Google and type in Arcimoto SRK. I do not know what to make of them. Cool? Weird? You decide.

    Shop Manual Source

Green Manual I have a 2015 RT SM6. I purchased the Green Manaul. It is a BRP factory manual that is searchable and printable. It also contains a few extras: owner's manual, Can Am accessories and riding gear and more. Well worth the money.

I need to get my RT back to New York when when we return from Florida in the spring. Does anyone have any experience with the multitude of motorcycle shippers? Thanks

    Why the dislike?

Naysayers Do not despair. Let the naysayers say what they will. Their time will come when they too will have to make the decision if they want sit on the porch and watch the riders go by or get a "tricycle" and continue to ride. I had that idenentical situation. I have been riding two wheelers...

    Hand Brake

Highway pegs A while back I had a 750 Virago. I put engine guards (crash bars) with highway pegs on it. One day I was cruising with with my feet up on the highway pegs when a car darted out of a driveway. I found the front brake easy enough but that split second it took to "find" the foot brake...

I am revolking my Retirement Status !!!

"I QUIT" I retired five years ago. I too have been plagued with many requests, both professional and personal, to get involved with projects that conflict with my retirement. I simply recall the words of Nancy Reagan first spoken on January 4, 1989 and "just say no!".

Need help (or suggestions) on my Spyder

Be preared! The 1/2 mile to 25 miie error in your odometer wil only get worse. I am Spyder newbie and have observed the same phenomenon. My "quick" trips to the same store have resulted in more and more miles showing up on the odometer. I need to call the dealership and find out if this is a...
