• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Great news! I get to take one out for a few hours when they are working on my bike - looking forward to seeing how it all feels after a while :)

    F3 and Knees

What's interesting is I did try several different cannabis pastes on my knee - for me it did nothing. I live in Colorado, so that is easy to obtain and experiment with. I plan on riding a very long time, and hope the F3 is my new 'forever' bike. As much as any of them ever are :spyder2:

    F3 and Knees

Ah, you'd be surprised what I can cram on a Spyder... if not, Joe can look even more like the Beverly Hillbillies with his BMW GS800 !

    F3 and Knees

Hi all. I'm considering pulling the plug on an F3 Ltd. I currently have an '09 GS SE5 with almost 36k miles on it. I've put most of them on since I bought it used in 2012. My problem with the GS is after a week of riding, my knees and hips scream. I've got arthritis in my left knee (who...

    Coolant Reservoir

Mine just blew Question - when I replace the coolant tank, is it a good idea to replace hoses as well as clamps? How about the cap? Thanks!

Turn signal end piece came off

Hey everyone. I searched the forum but didn't find exactly what I was looking for. The end assembly of the left turn signal came off. It looks to be kind a pressure fit, but I can't get it to lock back in. Manual was no help. Do I have to replace the whole assembly? Seems like it should just...

Discount Tire says they will not sell tires for Spyders.

Agreed - but I ended up ordering on line and saying it was for a Tacoma...silly. Going to try the General tires on the front - yippee!!!

Discount Tire says they will not sell tires for Spyders.

Thanks Guys - I hadn't heard that before - caught me off guard. What about my question about the front tires? I've got an 09 GS

Discount Tire says they will not sell tires for Spyders.

Wow, so I just called Discount Tire - I wanted to buy another Kumho like I had bought before, and he pulled up my info and said that they are not allowed to sell tires for Spyders any longer. If I want that tire, I have to call back and not tell them what it is for. Has anyone else encountered...

Just lovin' my Spyder...old school, 2009 GS. Few farkles, loads of fun...

NICE! Yep, our riding here is stunning, but short. I do ride throughout the year (got a heated vest for my b-day!), but have to pick and choose the moments when the roads allow. Side note - I work for a franchisee out of San Diego - need to come back for a visit, but would like to ride too. Is...

Just lovin' my Spyder...old school, 2009 GS. Few farkles, loads of fun...

No kidding. We just got back from a trip to Paonia for the BMW rally. Telluride, Grand Mesa, back over Independence Pass and Trail Ridge Road... I've had my Spyder 2 years and have put 22k miles on it. Funny, I'm jonesing for an ST, but my GS has been so reliable, I hesitate... time will tell...

    Battery Connection vibrates loose

Thanks - I'll take a look at the screw. So, to be clear, what I'm looking for is a screw that is too long?

    Battery Connection vibrates loose

Okay, silly problem but I'm looking for the right answer. After I've ridden for a couple thousand miles, the negative connection on the battery vibrates slightly loose, so the Spyder will light up like normal, but when I hit the ignition, it does nothing. Took me quite a while to figure out the...
