• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Black Magic

I haven't found anything better than Zaino (and my cars have seen MANY high-end products!), but Collinite is one I haven't tried. Any idea how they compare?

Helmets! What kind do you wear?

I rotate between a Harley carbon fibre 3/4 (excellent), a Harley 1/2 or a Shoei Multi-Tec. I also have a RF-1000 (worn a couple of times, should sell it), a Sy-Max and a a Schuberth J1 and a Cromwell from Europe. I have way too many helmets!

    I WANT THIS LID !!!!

Try here: http://www.designerhelmets.com/index.php I've ordered several helmets from them. Easy to deal with, but expensive.

    Who has the perfect Spyder?

The Spyder's not perfect - but it's close enough. Over 2000 miles on mine in 2 months without any major problems. Just wish the brakes didn't squeal...

    F1 Windshield. Marcel

I did the same thing. Considered the F1, but after reading the reviews I didn't feel like "flipping a coin" to see if I was going to get a good product or... not. So, I ordered from Mark at CalSci. They know their stuff and their service and communication is top shelf. And, the product...

NUMBER ONE UPGRADE FOR THE SPYDER...

I have the wheels, cowl, trunk liner, red caliper stickers, Kury grips, CalSci shield, Hindle and the new clutch lever. I think the wheels and the Hindle are the best looking mods. The clutch lever is the best functional mod. To be honest, I'm not all that excited about any of them. They're...

    CalSci Shields - My Experience

There is info on his site to help determine the size. I used that as a starting point but when I received the medium shield it was just a bit too short. Mark can cut the shield in any size you want, although I would assume he would not allow returns on custom cut items.

    CalSci Shields - My Experience

The actual increase for my new shield is almost an inch taller. The "Large" size is 1.5 inches taller than the medium. That may have worked fine, but I really only wanted a slight increase to get the wind out of my eyes. I also did not want the edge of the shield to be in my line of sight...

    CalSci Shields - My Experience

I wanted a touring shield for the cooler winter months. So, I started researching different brands of shields. I ended up ordering from Mark at CalSci because of the the fact that most of the reviews were positive and I appreciated the science that went into his designs. Mark was great to...

    Spyder Cruise Control

An effective and safe real cruise control that is reasonably priced for the Spyder would be a great addition. It would immediately go to the top of my "must have" mod list. Hopefully, one will be available soon.

    Helmet laws

I always wear a helmet because I am one of the few people whose head actually looks better covered... Regarding the "choice" argument, I would suggest the freedom to be obese, smoke, drink too much, be unfaithful to your family, etc. has much more impact on others (and cost others more) than...

Temperature Gauge is v e r y slow to change... are they all?

Mine takes about 5 minutes to get to the correct temp (high 50s). We'll see how long it takes once we get into the cooler mornings.

Now I remember why I stopped buying this

I enjoy riding the Spyder for 3 main reasons: 1. It is safer than a bike in most cases for both me and my passenger. 2. It is a dream in a parking lot 3. Because of 1 and 2 above, I spend much more time in the wind. For those reasons, I will likely keep the Spyder if I have to choose between it...

    NoMagicNeon Axle Nut Covers

I also have the plastic ones from Can-Am. However, I would like the NMN if they were in black. Would be nice to have more add-ons that aren't plastic!!

I am in Texas and consistently ride in 95+ degree heat, sometimes over 100. 4-6 bars and no problems. Both city streets and superslabs.
