• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

First ride --- shine & rain

Well I was waiting to take my first ride ... I have a ticket getting ready to drop off --- to make this short, I took my first ride yesterday (31miles) and rode the bike to work today in the rain (22 miles). I love it (understatment). :D I have to say thanks to Marc Fischer of Fischer Insurance...

    Star Brite

ok, got a question. Kentucky is one of the states that doesn't require labeling of the E10 fuels, so you never know if its really E10 or not. Is there anything wrong with adding this stuff to regular non-E10 Gas? BTW: on a different note 1 gal sizes on ebay for $80 right now.

    question

I just bought one of these leftover zero mile 2010 RT's (mine was an A&C model). Pending if it is SE5 or not, it seems to be inline with what I have researched ($19,000 to 20,000 for RT-AC SE5 -- good deal, but they are out there if you look long enough). I typically have watched the SE5's go...

    NEWBIE

As said earlier, go test drive the RS and then the RT. When I did it in that order and liked the RS, after riding the RT i no longer wanted the RS. I also liked the SE5 trans, push button shifting, because it just added to the comfort alittle bit more. Good luck. :2thumbs:

    Sticker vs real price

I just picked up a 2010 RT-AC SE5 (new left over 2010) 3/26/2011. I picked it up for $18,999. I had to drive to get it, but I justified the 5hr drive by the 5 to 6k off the MSRP savings. Shop around online for a week or two ... you can find a good deal. Lots of dealers that have 2010's are...

    Tires For RTs only

Matbe it was the dealer blowing smoke, but I was told that the front tires were "special low pressure" tires and regular 34 psi tires would not work. Based on what I'm reading here it makes me wonder ??? Any truth to what I was told? :dontknow::hun:

Anyone taken the Skills Test in Kentucky?

So let us know how it goes for you. What area of Ky are you from? I know it says on Ky DMV we can take the test on the spyder. I have no intentions to taking the test on anything but the :spyder: . Good luck.

Picking it up this Saturday ...

Yes, I agree itwas a pain. We had to jack the front of the trailer up and unload on an incline. With all that, I had to get the lightest person around to load/unload. Trailer was a loaner so kind of hard to complain.;)

Picking it up this Saturday ...

Well, I'm now a proud owner of a Silver Spyder . The trip to Nashville IL. was pleasant, lots of farms to look at. It was just over 5 hrs each way. Here's a couple of pics of when I picked it up and unloading. I've already started on my first mod, making/adding...

    Ethanol and Power

The only down fall to going e85 is the fuel system requirements nearly double (injectors and fuel pump) ... also keep in mind stoichiometric is 14.7 with Gas and only 9.7 ish with e85, so remember that when tuning with the WB.
