• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

exhaust on the rocks, I have had a few..

Bummer on the muffler. Hard to believe the deer incident had anything to do with that failure. Far as the oil overfill, I'm really fussy about my oil level and I saved an empty "Ride-On" bottle with the tygon tubing just for removing excess oil. Find it really hard to get the level right at the...

    Help

There are LOTS of posts about the learning curve when going from 2 wheels to the Spyder. Key tips are to relax, lighten your grip on the bars. The Spyder is very much like a 4 wheeler. Think of it as a finely tuned sports car. Experience will provide you with the confidence needed to enjoy and...

    Latch(s)

I for one, NEVER use WD-40 for anything except loosening rusted bolts. The stuff dries up quickly and all the lubrication value is lost. If you do use it, you'll find yourself reapplying often. It's not made to provide long lasting lubrication. You can purchase oil on a spray can and it works a...

    Panel flew off

Over 13000 miles on #0180 RT-S PE and yet to loose one of these. The grommets are glued in with weather strip adhesive and I always check them to be sure the latch (hook) is in the correct position after the dealer works on it. Most of the dealer service people are really bad about not pushing...

changing rts 2010 front shocks to 2011 shocks

I have already replaced the front shocks on my 2010 RT with the 2011 shocks. Much easier job if you remove the front trunk. Not a hard job and really allows free access to everything. Just follow the procedure in the service manual. I sanded and painted the 2011 shocks with a gloss black and had...

    Electrical tech help request

I would like to have my I-Phone 4 pluged into the radio while it's mounted up front at handle bar location. Presently, I have installed a 3.5mm stereo recptical in the switch bank that is wired into the rear compartment. This allows me to hear my i-phone (like an I-pad) through the radio while...

Top Cargo Shelf & Trunk Liner

The shelf is supported by a strap attached to the existing screws on either side of the rear compartment. You just need to cut a small hole or slit in the linner at these two locations, bolt your strap brackets in place and you're good to go.
