• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

New Ceramic & Carbon Fiber on RT

Stripperking, I think I owe YOU thanks for all the assistance. Some people have expressed interest in contact information for the guy I had do the carbon fiber work. I didn't post it openly here because he's not a spyderlovers.com sponsor and I felt I'd be taking advantage of Lamont who really...

    Handle Bar Removal Help

Matt, Great video. Thanks for the feedback. Spending this week rearranging my basement garage area so I don't have to use the main garage up top to work on the RT this time. Had the main garage tied up for 2 weeks when I did the ceramic exhaust and some other carbon fiber coating and required...

Trailer hitch rust & Pic. Test

The picture didn't do justice to the live view. Believe me, it was rusty. Point of post was to test if I had learned proper method of resizing pictures for posting them. Seems like it worked. Of course I was forced to forget something in process of learning this. I hope it was "How to...

Trailer hitch rust & Pic. Test

Testing my procedure for posting a picture and thought it might be a good time to show a picture of a rusted trailer hitch I saw this summer at a BRP demo.

Let the exhaust wrap job begin

Looking at all the tools, nuts and bolts on the floor, thought someone had taken a picture of mine. Got mine back together but in process, my floor looked exaxtly like yours. Great looking wrap job. Keep up the good work. You inspire us all to do more. I have resolved to get this DA--ED handle...

    Ok, I give - Thumbnails?

My problem is pre formatting the photo in order to make it a "thumbnail". All of my photo's are to large and won't upload. Lamont had me down load some kind of photo editor to do this but I haven't been able to figure out how to do it. I'd love to upload some pictures of all the carbon fiber...

    Trailer Hitch

I'm getting ready to purchase a hitch and after looking at some at a BRP demo area in Arkansas last summer, I'm wondering if (prior to mounting it), I should have it powder coated. All of the units at that demo were rusted and really looked bad. Assume BRP didn't make them (like lots of their...

    Air pressure and shock setting

Dwight, I think you might send a PM to Scotty (Nancy's Toy) and ask him his opnion about this and also what the proper procedure for checking the system. Seem there is something about bing on the RT at time of check because of the weight and maybe something about it running. Scotty knows just...

    Air pressure and shock setting

I think Dwight has a RT-S with on board compressor so it should inflate and deflate automatically depending on the settings on the dash. Dwight has had loads of trouble with the air bag and sounds like the end hasn't come into view yet. I think you have a good dealer Dwight but you might want to...
