• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Thanks Carlo

Update on Update On Tuesday, my dealer received the module from BRP to repair the shifting problem on RT#0180. They installed it yesterday and called me last night to tell me that IT STILL WON'T SHIFT. They (the dealer) now thinks it's a bad solenoid and has ordered one to ship overnight. The...

    Chromed out RT

Love to look at all the chrome but I think carbon fiber would be a much better choice on the RT. If I ever get mine out of the shop, I'm planning on having as much alum/silver parts cover in carbon fiber as I can. Cheaper also.

    Thanks Carlo

Received a call from Carlo at BRP yesterday to at least acknowledge that the problems with my RT have been excessive and to attempt to reassure me that BRP would make every effort to make things right. If any of you doubt the fact that my problems have been excessive, let me assure you that they...

Maybe I just need a hug

I'm really down in the dumps over the reliability of my RT-S. It's in the shop again, this time because it won't shift (SE-5). Dealer seems to think it's a bad module and has one on order. I feel like this unit has had so many problems that I now am afraid to venture too far from home for fear...

    SE-5 Shift Problems

    SE-5 Shift Problems

RT has 12,500 miles with 12,000 mile service 2week and half ago. Checked the oil on Friday just before problem and it was slightly over full. Typ. after service. I think the tech always faults on the high side when changing the oil. WAS hoping to get 15K prior to the first snow fall. don't know...

    SE-5 Shift Problems

Saturday, while on a ride, experienced problems with the tranny on my 2010 RT-S, SE-5. Accelerating onto a highway and shifting up, got to 2nd and it refused to shift up to 3rd. Slowed down and tried to shift down to no avail. Shut Rt off, waited about 5 min. to allow computer to reset and...

    Gettin' Really P.O.'d

My dealer got 3 units in initally and I was the first to have it done at his dealership. He was a bit worried because BRP based the number of initial units to each dealer based on the number of Spyders they sold and he said he had a much greater number of Spyder customers than units sold because...

    RT BLING is comming

I'm with Scotty on this one. I'm interested in seeing all of it but much prefer the non chrome. Fact is, I have already blacked out the handle bar support center portion where it faces the instrument pannel in order to reduce the glare from the alum.

    RT BLING is comming

At my dealer (Advantage Power Sports in N. Kansdas City)last week and he was kind enough to show me a catalog with all the new chrome accessories BRP will have available with the new 2011 model. Looks like all of will fit the 2010. You wouldn't believe the ammount of chrome trim and accessories...

    Spy photos 2011 RT...

This is the same RT we saw in Arkansas a couple of weeks ago. The "flaps" under the mirrors are the same as 2010 model. This RT is only a prototype and dosn't include all the 2011 changes. It was put together just to show the new color. GREAT color though.
