• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I'm hoping for a better seat in future models.

SEAT COMFORT We just did a 9611 mile ride across the US (Oregon to Niagara Falls, ON). Our butts never got tired. One day we did 441 miles. No complaints here about comfort. I am 5'2, 155 lbs, hubby is 5'9 225 lbs. We each love our bikes. Only complaint we have is the foot heat. Our good...

One of the main differences between 2013 and other models

PPE Well, here is the skinny. My husband I just did a 9611 mile ride across on our RT's (yes, we each have our own). It was VERY hot and we rode in 106 degrees one day. We rode in shorts, T-shirts and I wore sandals. We rode freeways, back roads, and even the Dragon Tail. And yes, we...

All jokes aside, is this viable?

Nope I have a 2011 RT LTD and hubby has a 2012. We just made a 9611 mile trip from Oregon to PA, Canada, etc. and the heat at times was unbearable. My right leg actually got burned on the inside from the engine heat. There has to be a fix somewhere. I was wondering if just putting more...

    Need Alignment

Alignment Husband experienced this on our last trip and found out the original dealer did not get the alignment right and nor did the second! Grrr They take over 4 hrs. to do and most techs do not do it correctly; so be sure you go to a reputable dealer to have it done. Your tires should not...

    New New Rider

Happy to hear!! I had not ridden a bike for 43 years and got a RS in 2012. That lasted for about 7,000 miles and I wanted the BIG boy (RT LTD). Got it in Oct. 0f 2012 and have 19,700 miles on it! I love it. You will be very comfortable and get lots of attention. My only suggestion for you...

The biker's "CODE" of friendly hello's? NOT today!!!!

Can't cure stupid My husband and I ride a lot (8K last summer) and encounter those ignorant bikers every now and then. Went to Sturgis last year and had several sneers by HD riders. We could care less. We are having a lot more fun as we don't have to worry about spilling over on our bikes...

Why did you buy Your spyder?

WHY? Lost my husband after 40 years of bliss. Wanted another motorcycle (hadn't ridden since late 60's -- yamaha 350). Knew I couldn't hold up a 2 wheeler at my age. Got the RS, fell in love with it. Met my fiance who had a HD TriGlide. He couldn't keep up with me, so this spring, he sold...
