• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Have we confirmed yet what that whine is?

Yeah, mine whines too. But mine becomes noticeable at 25MPH and on to high speed. it appears to be coming from the front but my hearing is so shot I can't tell if it's coming from the front or the rear. I just figured it was a mechanical noise from the tranny and was normal. But I noticed when I...

Warning about the new Fox shocks

Well, they look pretty good. At least they are offering an alternative, even though they say only for 2011-2012 models. Since the physical platform is the same and I am guessing they are using the same ECU type there is no reason why my ECU couldn't be flashed to match the 2011/2012 ECU. To my...

    Had the DPS update...

    Had the DPS update...

Yup, I agree with Dan. It's weird though, because I have had one (kathy's RSS) go really light like Dan and others have indicated which was dealt with by re-training and a slight air pressure adjustment. Mine (14) was exactly the same - the new DPS unit never caused any real change in steering...

Hey Buddy! Congratulations on getting the RT variant completed. I knew you would figure it out. These tensioners are FANTASTIC. I swear by mine. Probably the best thing I have purchased for the Spyder. Of course, I have an RS but you get the drift! I highly recommend them.

    Nobody Listens

Pretty much sums up modern senior level management, doesn't it? Sometimes you just scratch your head and wonder how things got to this level. Do they teach ignoring common sense, power meetings about nothing, shmoozing and good ol' boy networking as part of the business management training...

My Spyder senses tell me ....

Welcome Chodarider! The Spyder is a great concept. The Y configuration was the thing that got me interested in it in the first place. However, 1 year down the road the experience is not what I had hoped for. The machine simply isn't what it could be. The amazing folks on this site have provided...

how long does it take to change your oil? how the filter look?

That's pretty much how long it takes me too, Seth. I don't rush it or anything as I usually take that time to look at other stuff around the machine and just putter around. I'd say your filter looks OK. Nice work, dude!

I have run out of patience with BRP.

It truly saddens me to hear this. It's a shame to read what is going on out there now. The level of discontent is growing rapidly, and the openly arrogant attitude of BRP seems to have towards its customers is irresponsible at best. It's obvious to me that as the rider base grows BRP is not...

    No authorization

Ahhh, the song remains the same. Are these people @ BRP ever going to learn? Believe me I know what it's like to lose your Mother so I get that part of the deal. But a company as big as BRP has NO ONE else to cover and keep daily ops rolling? No excuse. As I so coldly found out, the world does...
