• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Seat time will solve it. I had the same intial reaction as your's, it's long forgotten. Ride on! Tripod :joke:

    Nothing but problems

My two cents worth...I had similar issues, all cured now with the ground strap and gear position sensor fixes. Good luck. Tripod :joke:

    FrankenHindle

See if you can contact TJ on the West Coast Spyders board. He did an awesome rebuild of a Hindle. If I remember right, he spec'd the screws, packing used, paint used, etc. I don't see it in the "How To's" anymore...the site has been hacked a few times and probably got lost. If you leave a post...

    Honda Trike

RJB, I've owned two Honda Valkyrie trikes before I got my Spyder. Trikes are unwieldy beasts...subpar brakes for the most part, oversteer. Spyders, by most measures, are vastly superior in performance, safety, etc. I didn't read every post here (I'm on the fly) but I noticed that Easy or...

I am jacked up!! My spousal unit, Joanie, and I, have an accepted offer on a home in Branson, MO. If it all plays out as hoped, we'd love to host a get together or something as part of Spyderfest 2011. Whom should I correspond with? Tripod :joke:

    ISCI Happy Customer!

I've had my ICSI stuff for over a year. It still is solid as a rock, looks brand new and get a lot of complements. It's hands down, the best aftermarket product I've ever purchased, and I've been riding for close to 50 years. Tripod :joke:

GS Rear Tire Mileage at Replacement ?

This has probably been asked and answered before but I can't find it. At what mileage did you replace the rear tire? Thanks in advance for your response. Tripod

    6,000 Miles Scheduled Maint. Cost

Mouthpiece, You're absolutely right. I posed the question regarding cost estimates, and I got the question answered. Having been around this site for a while, I knew I'd also get unsolicited opinions about should the service be done,or not, it cost too much, do it your self, BRP is wrong, etc...

    New Spyder SPX Exhaust System

How would this compare, soundwise, to the Hindle? A lot of us are looking for something that sounds better than stock but won't get us ticketed in Noise Abatement neighborhoods. Tripod :joke:

    RS Sadlebag options

Not so good for two up. Like someone said, the rear signals position them too far forward. And, I have a Corbin seat setup and the straps won't go under the rear seat, they have to go over it. So, I use a BRP rear seat bag for extra cargo. Tripod :joke:

    RS Sadlebag options

I use the Nelson-Rigg CL-950's and are very happy with them. Along with the BRP rear seat bag and the Nelson-Rigg tank bag, I got enuf junk to ride for days and days. Get home, and in a few minutes I got it all off and have my sporty roadster look again. Tripod :joke:

    Back to Service Again

If the coolant smell returns, I'll wager it is a cracked coolant reservoir. How was yours tested? At a ride lunch with other Spyder owners ( 18 of us) I asked if anyone else has had a bad reservoir...me and five other raised our hands I can't address the gas smell issue, I just suggest that...

Can we set a record in Cowtown Spyderfest next year?

I'm a former resident of Branson, MO and haven't been back since 1996. We've been looking for a reason to come back and visit our old haunts. A SpyderFest is the best reason I can think of to return to MO. I'd be coming from the left coast. I'd be really cool if we could get a bunch of...

How Much Gas Do You Have Left ?

I'd like to find out from you guys and gals, how much gas does your ryde take when you fill up? When I get the lighted warning and I'm down to one bar on the gas gauge, I fill up. Almost everytime it takes about 4.5 gallons to fill it up. So, I'm not really all that close to being empty...
