• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Helmets

I use the exact same AGV Blade, except I ordered a Smoke visor, and have found it to be extremely comfortable and a good value for all the features it has. I especially like the chin strap assembly...very cool. Tripod :joke:

    Need new seat

I ordered a BRP comfort seat, installed it and liked it alot. But (pun intended), found a defect in it, sent it back, like a lot of others, only to find that they were backordered forever. So, I ordered a Corbin. Yes, it's firm, although it is getting worn it after 2,000 miles on it. I'm glad...

    SW Missouri Spyders?????

We lived in Branson for 6 years. My wife worked in Springfield and my son graduated for SMSU, which I hear is now Missouri State. Now that I know there are so many Spyder Ryders in the region, we may just have to take a ride back there. We love to visit Eureka Springs, Hot Springs, etc. Tripod...

    Nice Alternative To Hard Bags

I have a Valkyrie trike and my '08 Spyder. For big loads and long hauls the trike is like a truck. I've always thought of the Spyder as my "sports car". I've been reluctant to put hard bags on it because I like the stripped down look of it. We'll, I'm wanting to do some touring with the Spyder...

Is SpydersNest a legit vendor or was I just scammed for < $500?

I had problems with them as well. Finally got my stuff after way to much calling. Steer clear of them. Tripod :doorag:

    Loud Hindle

Thanks for the advice. Question...the manual isn't very clear about disconnecting the battery, a lot of info on charging it, that's about it. What I need to know is this. If I disconnect the ground side and positive side which do I do first? And, I assume, they go back in the same sequence. My...

    Loud Hindle

I bought a used Hindle with real low miles on it and installed it yesterday. I like the bark of it, but here's my problem. I have a SE5 and when it downshifts and blips the throttle, the muffler pops...pretty loud. And winding it out is pretty raucous. I like it but I will be riding through a...

    Great ride today!

It was in the 70's today so I took a ride down the coast. The weather was very nice, a few clouds, but still a great ride. I really enjoyed it. I enjoy the weather here in CA for the most part, and it never gets unbearably hot in the summer. Ahh, life on the left coast. Tripod :joke:

No can do...witness protection you know.

    Creep? SE5

Mine did the same thing. With subsequent updates, and mileage, it's lessened. It was real annoying but I don't even notice it now. Tripod :joke:

USER NAMES/HANDLES - What does yours mean? Where did it come from?

Well, I use a cane, kinda like three legs, I ride a trike and a Spyder, all with three wheels, hence...Tripod. Tripod :joke:

    Brand new to the group

Mark, Welcome from the left coast from an ex-Branson, MO resident. You'll love the Spyder. Because of my physical challenge I've been riding trikes for years...I still have one, which is great for long distances with a full load, but most of the time I jump on the Spyder...too much fun not...

    Rear tire valve stem

My rear tire valve stem is at such an angle that it's d**n near impossible to get a pressure gauge or air hose on it. Anyone else have that condition? Thanks for any input, advice, solution, what have you. Tripod :joke:

    Corbin seats

All Spyders come with a stock swaybar. The most common aftermarket sway bar, in fact, the only one I know of, is the one from Ken at Evoluzione Motorsports. It tames a lot of the inherent body roll without stiffening the ride. Tripod :joke:

    Corbin seats

It took about 1,000 miles to break in my Corbin. It's worth every mile. Also, let me get in a plug for the Evoluzione sway bar. It is a "gotsta have" addition. Tripod :joke:

    Evoluzione Sway Bar

I picked up my swaybar directly from Ken last June. It is by far the best perfomance enhancement for the dollar. If your wondering, it reduces the body roll without stiffning the ride. IMHO, it's a "must have". Tripod :joke:
