• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Riding with a passenger?

Who are your passengers, bobble heads. :D Most riders know what acceleration and braking does to a heavy helmeted head and learn to control their head movement unless the driver is riding jack rabbit style. Over the years, I have learned that the phenomenon is much worse on a PWC where...

    Should BRP feel slighted?

This month's Rider magazine has the new RT in a full page ad on page 3. It also reports on the HD Tri Glide as "the first factory produced trike on the market". I guess the Spyder is technically a reverse trike, so the description of the HD may be accurate. I don't think BRP has ever...

Let me just say I'm not happy either

Maybe we do need a few days cooling off, or like my Grandsons, a time out. We could all use the time to reflect on what this site means to us and come back ready to share ideas, suggestions, mods, maintenance tips and even criticisms without name calling, incivility and accusations. :dontknow:

DPS Problems, We Can No Longer Ignore "The Elephant In The Living Room"

If you have information that BRP knew of steering issues and ignored them, that should be shared with the NHTSA. This forum can't do anything with that information, but NHTSA can.

Is the shed for the old Spyder, the new Spyder or for some of the older bikes so the Spyders can go in the garage. Most sheds don't have 6' doors unless it's a REALLY BIG shed.

    Did not purchase Spyder

An old Kawasaki ad read: "Kids don't make you old, a mortgage doesn't make you old, regrets make you old. Live life with no regrets". Hope you don't have regrets. It does cut both ways, however, as you could have bought it and regretted it. Your life, live it with no regrets regardless of...

    Warranty running out

You will lose money either way. With no warranty, you have the risk of expensive repairs. If you sell or trade in, you will lose on the depreciation and probably spend money on another BEST contract if you are staying with BRP. You pay to play.
