• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    I bought a Honda cruiser back in 2004. I could not get used to the foot forward riding position no matter what I tried. Hips would ache so bad I could scream. Sold it. The peg/floorboard position on my RT is perfect for me.

    SE6 or SM6?

    Severe arthritis in the left hand was the reason I chose SE. I also ride a lot in town so not having to clutch is a giant plus for me.

    I'm retired LEO so I stay at the limit. By the way, Minnesota logged its first motorcycle fatality of 2014 a couple days ago. Guy on crotch rocket hit one of the thousands of pot holes opened up by our brutal winter. Witness claims the rider was doing around 100 mph but no way to really know.

    Installing fog lights on plain RT

    I asked my dealer about an install of the fog lights on my 2012 and they quoted 3 1/2 hours of labor. I declined at the time. Still undecided whether they are worth the trouble or not.

    Here's a Insp Gadget footboard on my 2012 RT. I like them very much. I didn't like a peg pressing into the instep of my feet. Price is right too compared to the competition.

    Absolute Best Parts Guy (read This)

    I ordered two decals on the BRP web site and they were shipped from St Boni which is about 25 miles from me. Postage for two featherweight decals was over $5. Cheaper than 2 gallons of gas for the trip but kinda expensive I think. Fast service though.
