• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Tell me your bug stories, I know you got one

Have had a few bug encounters, but.... About a month ago we were coming back from Alexandria Bay in NYS when a big crow was just taking off from the shoulder of the highway right in front of us. I veered to the left to try and avoid it but it just barely hit my windshield and somehow missed me...

    laser alignment

Ron, I am glad to hear that Norm was able to help your ride with the alignment. I still can hardly believe what a differnce in the way my Spyder handles after the laser alighnment, not that it was ever really bad but it did seem to want to "dart and dive" under certain conditions. All that is...

my rear tire is completely shot in the middle

I absolutely agree about the "balooning effect". I kept very good track of the air pressure in the rear tire and it would wear out in the center with a lot of tread left on the outer edge of the tire. I would have to replace the stock tire around 12,000 to 14,000 miles on it. I have over...

    Laser Alignment available at Spyderquest

Hi Bill, Long time no see! I'm sure Norm can do that......his system is very portable and only 6 componets....4 "targets" and 2 "lasers" 1 for each front wheel. Went for another 75 or so mile ride tonight and I'm telling you my Spyder has never been so rock stable. It has always been fun to...

    Laser Alignment available at Spyderquest

Ya he told me about it on the phone today, we were talking about a mutual friend, Mel Brown, yesterday that is still racing flat track in his late 70's and he too is a big winner even at his age. We were able to see him race last year in Southern NY and he was kind of unhappy that he only came...

    Laser Alignment available at Spyderquest

I just had my Spyder "Laser Aligned" and what a difference it made in handling. My bike had developed some wandering issues, at certain times depending on road surface and cross winds. I had watched the video on here about the person who has developed this technology and I was able to contact...

We had a great time today too. Met some friends that we haven't seen in quite a while and enjoyed talking with lots of people with Spyders and some "Spyderless" riders. Had a couple of them express interest in looking into buying one. I have come to the conclusion that if you are...

I had the same problem of blowing that fuse and finally found out that the license plate light was broken and even loose in the socket and of course was shorting out.....almost exactly the way you are having the fuse blow on your bike. Just a thought.......it might be worth checking.:dontknow:

    Think I screwed up!!

Just wanted to say that my battery seems to have had no ill effects from running it way down. I have been out on it a couple of times today for a total of about 120 miles and have started it many times today and the Spyder starts right up and and it cranks over really fast like it always has...
