• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Something to be very proud of when returning from Spyderfest

When we arrived home my son told me that our Grandson, my daughters son, had saved a man's life by doing CPR on him for an extended amount of time until the ambulance arrived. Not sure why there was a delay in getting help to him but the doctors said without TJ's (my Grandson) help the man...

    Hotel Review......America's Best Value Inn

We stayed at the Microtel which was less than 2 miles from Pitbull and was about half the cost of the host motel. We always try to stay at Microtel Motels because they are always clean and usually have a great breakfast fare every morning. If I had any complaint about this one it would be that...

what farkles did you get for your spyder at the fest?

Bajaron's anti sway bar for the Spyder and shirts and hat for my wife and a CanAm hat for me. When I have to go to a new belt will be putting on a belt tensioner, but I was afraid to put one on this belt with over 70,000 miles on it.

Some of my thoughts on Spyderfest 2013

We had a great time at Spyderfest, even with all the rain. We stayed at the Microtel which is only about 2 miles from Pitbull and 2 other couples stayed there also and we spent some good time with them just chatting in the lobby and across the way at Waffle House. We even went riding in the...

    Question about coolant

Hi Ann, that was one of the first things I checked and that is working just the way it is supposed to. I am going to keep a close eye on the coolant level. Looking forward to seeing you at Spyderfest this year again.

    Question about coolant

I just went out to the garage and checked oil and it is completely normal looking, no milkiness or frothing and at same level as when I changed it a couple of days ago. I admit I haven't been checking the coolant level too often. I used to check it quite frequently and it was always up in the...

    Question about coolant

After I filled the coolant resevoir today I went for about an 85 mile ride and checked the coolant level when I got back and it seemed to be alright. The bike ran great and never went above 4 bars.:dontknow: You might know this would happen so close to us leaving for Spyderfest.:yikes:

    Question about coolant

Ya Shawn, I mentioned that in my post. I suppose it is possible that something could have happened since I changed the oil...but I doubt it. I'll check the dip stick in the morning and see if it looks milky or if it shows high on the dip stick.

    Question about coolant

I started a ride today and about 2 miles into the ride my 2008 GS went into limp mode because of overheating with 7 bars. I stopped and let it cool down and started it up again and went to 7 bars again but not into limp mode and then the bars went down to 5. When I got home I tried to view the...
