• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Question about welding on Spyder

I have a very light hard plastic mud flap installed on the fender that I need to keep my trailer cleaner, but not sure that has caused it to happen because the first time when the cracks appeared in the brackets the mud flap was not on the rear fender. I know also it is a very common problem...

    Question about welding on Spyder

Ya I will be removing any vulerable plastic and sheilding any wire and hoses near the weld spot. It is on the other side of the bike away from the battery so that should not be a problem. It would be better to use a mig welder but my son's mig is down right now so he'll have to use his arc...

    Question about welding on Spyder

I have the ongoing problem of rear fender brackets breaking or cracking. I believe this is the 3rd time I have had to deal with this problem. The first time my dealer covered it under warranty and replaced them. The second time he told me BRP won't warrantee it again and he shouldn't have...

Now if Mother Nature Will Just Co-Operate a Little...

Not a big weather channel fan I don't have much confidence in the weather channel....or for that matter any of the weather forecasters. I do have to admit that Channel 9 in Syracuse seems to have the most accurate forecasts and that is what they brag about all the time on air. Here's hoping...

    No more excuses.......

I admire your fortitude I have always wanted to take mine to a high pressure wash bay like that, but I was told by my dealer and another dealer under no circumstances ever, ever use high presuures spray around the vents and openings in the motor area. They said there was just too much danger...

    Bob Denman SL withdrawals?

These symptoms could be ......... I've been thinking about Bob going to SpyderFest next month. He will be on the road many hours without being able to post on SpyderLovers! Those riding in his group should look for signs of SpyderLovers withdrawal symptoms... They may notice cold sweats...

    Valve adjustment question

Sorry so late with this post I went to over 53000 miles before I had the valves checked and they were well within tolerance. I decided to have it done then because it was in the shop for clutch basket noise so they replaced the clutch basket and I figured I should get it done at that time. I...

Tell your story. What was the moment you knew you had to have a Spyder?

It was Magic for me on my demo ride I was down in Cortland, NY with my son in the fall of 2007 when about 13 of these "funny looking" things were going the opposite way. I asked my son what the *&^$% were they. He seemed to have heard about them and said he had forgot they were giving demo...
