• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    ISO photos of Orange Spyders

Thank you! I had recently seen that one. It's drop-dead gorgeous!!

    ISO photos of Orange Spyders

My Spyder is going to eventually be painted a metallic orange. I have been trying to find as many photos of orange Spyders for inspiration on color and what to paint. I remember seeing one that had more than just the panels painted - like the mirror arms and such. Can't seem to find those...

Spyder Ryder from Harrisburg, PA - Let's roll

Howdy! We are in the York area of PA. Purchased in August of '09 - just now getting near 600 mile check-up. I'm getting much more ryding in now than last fall. Starting some mods, also. Janice

    Spyder Sightings

PA area My hubby and I took a ryde (he has a Suzuki Volusia & I have a red SE5) to Gettysburg last Saturday. Bikes were out everywhere - the day was absolutely glorious! We were in a leather shop and I saw a yellow Spyder on Rt. 30 heading west toward Gettysburg. We rode a little farther and...

    Cooler for SE5 trunk

Found one! Ok - we still wanted a soft self-contained cooler for our needs. We kept looking and researching brands & sizes. I think we found a pretty good match. Good size, gets good reviews, is supposed to keep things really cold, convenient easy access lid, great price & Amazon had it to us...

    KewlMetal Risers

Matt, Thanks for the clarification! We just have to make sure this is the option for me (it's a bit of an "investment" I hadn't planned on or budgeted for). ;) My muscles are yelling for some improvement!

    Cooler for SE5 trunk

Thanks Yes, we do have the trunk liner. I prefer to have something self contained. And soft, so we can squish it if needed. We always use frozen water bottles to keep other stuff cold. We frequent Ren Faires and I can toss the frozen bottles in my basket and we can drink it as it melts. I was...

    Cooler for SE5 trunk

After our first ryde of the season, we are looking for a cooler that is more suited for the SE5 trunk. We have a hard side 6-pack cooler that fits well enough - but, we have more space and could use a larger cooler for long, hot days. Has anyone found one that fits like a glove? We are...

    KewlMetal Risers

Thanks, Matt! Do you know which Kury Grips work - same size that is recommended for stock Spyder handlebars? Mine aren't installed yet - luckily we were waiting.

    KewlMetal Risers

Thanks for that suggestion - it's a good point. I would still love to see more photos of the Kewl Metal adjustable risers. My hubby thinks they are just what I need for a more comfy ryde. I think we may invest in them. I am going to e-mail to find out if the Kury grips I got for Christmas...

    KewlMetal Risers

I am considering these, also. Found I lean way too far & put way too much pressure on my hands & wrists! I need a more upright position. I'm concerned these look a bit clunky on the bike. Also, anyone know if these void the warranty - considering the original bars have to be cut? I also just...

    Extended warranty question?

09 offer We just got a new 09 SE5 today. It most definitely is included in the 2 + 1 yr warranty promotion - with roadside assist. No extra charge. We also got about $1000 in accessories/installation and a coupon for the upgraded 6 spoke wheels from doing the test ride (along with a spiffy...

    1st ride & a question

Just completed my first ryde on my new Spyder! Fairly short to get the feel for it. I was "bike rusty" and nervous. I'm still a bit iffy in turns (was on a two-wheeler, also). Taking a break and then we are heading on another short ryde to get dinner. My hubby rode her first - and found...

    Spider Bling

We play at Ren Faires and one of our favorite vendors has some nice Spider themed jewelry. Just thought some might find them fun and interesting! http://www.martymagic.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=54_84&zenid=b26fc7893fbbd626c585a4076299b1a0 Janice :spyder2:

Any experiences with below dealer-pls share

So far so good We are working with this dealer right now to purchase my Spyder. They have been great. Not trying to nickle & dime us, straight forward and willing to go the extra mile (literally) to get the bike we want. We are getting a much better feel with these guys than we had at the two...

    Intro post

Thanks Irish. Unfortunately, that weekend is booked. Plus, by the time I get my Spyder...I'll probably only have it only a few days before that run. I'd like a little time to get acclimated before doing a long ride - I don't want to be horribly inexperienced when riding in a group. I think it...

    Intro post

Newbie on this site. Have been doing a ton of research about the Spyder. Traveled from PA down to Easton, MD yesterday for the BRP event. Unfortunately, the BRP reps had no 2010 models (even though when I called ahead I was told they would). No biggy, I guess - just wanted as much info as I...
