• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Spyder wouldn't start

I ride mine every day. Park in my workshop. Always start in neutral and never pull the clutch. (Unless of course I'm at the lights etc) This has never happened before. Hasn't missed a beat since.

    Spyder wouldn't start

I went to start my Spyder this morning. Put in the key, prssed the M button on the bars, Pressed the start button and nothing. Checked over the cluster and all was as it should be. Tried again and nothing again. Checked the fuse, removed and reseated the relays, still no go. Removed the key and...

front end "tank slap" issues at triples

http://reversetrike.com/spinwurkz.html Cool, but it needs some sort of faring to cover all that pipe work on the front. I do agree with Firefly, maybe you should be looking at somthing like this SethO. I've got nothing against you giving the Spyder a fare caining but I feel the Spyder is more...

front end "tank slap" issues at triples

Might have something to do with the wheel chair SethO it might be something to do with the wheel chair on the back. It might be affecting the areo dynamics of the bike and be lifting the front at that speed. Or maybe the extra wight over the back wheel. There is a switch in the seat that...

    Spyderless

Sounds a bit scary :( At least you don't have to wait six weeks. I'd hate to go that long without my ride. Keep us informed, it sounds like something we need to lookout for :doorag:

    GPS question

I've had the Garmin Zumo 550 for a few weeks now. I was used to using a TomTom in my car before this. I like the Zumo but a gotta say I think the TomTom has better mapping software. The Zumo seems to take me all over the place to get anywhere. If I ask for the same address on the TomTom it takes...

    another fried spyder!!!!!!!!!!!

:agree: Its not the same as having a face to face with someone. It can be very easy to misinterpret someones meaning on forums like this. I think we all need to step back and take another look sometimes before we jump in and make a comment :doorag:

    what else is available

Yeah, and look at all them drive belts. I count three :yikes: And correct me if I'm wrong but I don't see any rear suspension :yikes::yikes: Looks cool but I think the Spyder would be a better ride.

    3" or 4"

I went for the 4"NMN risers. Boy what a difference. A lot less stress on the back and a much nicer ride. Especially when you ride with one hand :2thumbs:

    another fried spyder!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't panic BumbleBee, Its not like Spyders are going up in flames all over the place. I think there has been 6 out of around 10,000. Thats still 6 to many I know :yikes: Its probably a good idea to stop in a safe place for a few minuets before you put your bike in the shed. But don't let it...

    another fried spyder!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't think we should have to do any of these things. The bike should work right straight out of the box. I know from my experience that dealers and insurance companies will look for any reason to dispute a claim. And unauthorized mods are right on the top of their list. I'm just saying to...
