• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Thanks for getting your server back

If dogs could ride bikes there would be no room on the roads for the rest of us :doorag: They sure do like the wind in their face don't they :ohyea:

    Simple Tips

Its been pretty cold down here in Tassie for the last few weeks so the old finger tips have been getting a bit cold. I have two pairs of gloves, so I decided to put one pair on and the other in the hole in the side of the Spyder where the radiator fan is. Rode the bike for about 15 mins. By this...

If they can do it for Trasformers they could do it for us

There has been a few red faced moments for me when I simply try and take off from the side of the road and the motor starts to "sputter and fart" thanks to good old "Nanny". It would be soooo nice to be able to take off with just a little wheel spin and a small fish tail. I think they have gone...

    Ride on

If my memory is correct its 9oz per front tire and 13oz for the rear. Hope this info helps. There is a chart on the Ride-On web site that lists the tire size and amount to use so you can double check if you want :doorag:

    Leftovers

Its a lot better to work on than some of the ATVs I've had in the past. Only takes about ten minutes to get all the plastic off. I gotta say its a bit like a "bucket a chicken guts" under the covers though.

Riding Impressions After The First week

Glad to hear you are liking your Spyder Jim. It only gets better as time goes on. I'm hearin ya on the front brake thing. I also would like to add one. As for the twisties, I have done over 7000km and still feel a little unsettled in the fast corners, but its getting better all the time. I have...

Any recommendations for a GPS for my Spyder. :doorag: Looking for a unit that does topographic maps as well as street level. :chat:

    Speed Governor

This is not a rumor, in the sales brochure I read from BRP I am sure it states that the machine is "speed limited to 180km/h". Now I'm not saying it is. I have never tried to go that fast. I did ask the top speed question on this forum and there seems to be plenty of riders doing a lot more...

Engine shut down and error messages

Sounds like it could be a relay problem. Check the relays under the cover under the hood of the bike. Make sure they are properly seated. I have read that some riders carry spare relays for problems like the one you have described. Hope this helps :doorag:
