• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

A 7x12 trailer alone would exceed his towing limit, forget about putting the spyder on there.

How do I get to the battery??

If you figure out where to put it where it is accessible and you don't have to drill a hole in the frunk shell, please share.

    F3 Limited 2017, 2018 or 2019

We were looking into that but we decided on the F3L for a couple major reasons. If you are going to add a trunk anyway, there's absolutely no reason not to immediately upgrade to the L. For one, you aren't really saving any money in the long run, and you are getting a factory matched color in...

    Mirror shell fell off

Surprisingly, the cover came in to the dealer yesterday. They put it on and all is right in the world again... until it falls off.

    Mirror shell fell off

I suspected this was a common issue. Poor design by BRP to only have them attach from one axis (from the front) and not "click" into place. The compression clips are not enough to hold those mirror covers on. My wife was riding her 2019 F3L on the highway when she says she saw an "orange...

    3000 mile service f3s

I tell this to all my friends who get new bikes: let the dealer do the first service. The main reason is that the factory assembly isn't always perfect, and the dealer assembly isn't always perfect. They know best what to look for that may shake loose during the first service interval. The...

Where is this junction? (Maybe a plug)

This is probably what's going to wind up happening. Either this or I am going to just buy a Delphi 2-pin and cut and add it inline. Thanks for naming this big plug though, I wasn't sure who made it.

Where is this junction? (Maybe a plug)

Thanks for the suggestion, but I already bought the flasher from Custom Dynamics, and I want all the tail lights to flash, not just the top case. This is so that if I take the top case off, I still get the tail lights on the bags to flash.

Where is this junction? (Maybe a plug)

Looks like I finally found the subforum I've been searching for. I'm going to be installing a brake flasher module that has a three wire hookup on my wife's 2019 F3-L. Basically, I need to cut the white brake signal wire and insert the flasher module, then ground it. No problems for me...

Rear trunk removal on 18 Limited

The only thing I don't like about this video is that in the last two seconds it goes from no rear antenna to *POOF* antenna installed. No instructions for how to do that.

2019 F3 illegal in the US?

Starting with "not trying to be a jerk" is literally saying "I'm gonna be a jerk here... sooo...." Anyway, yes, the spirit of the law. When the laws were written, DRLs were already required for all motorcycles in the US. The DOT regulations only mention other vehicles because they aren't...

2019 F3 illegal in the US?

If I'm not mistaken, the NHTSA is part of DOT... regardless, I've filed my complaint with the NHTSA. They are going to investigate.

2019 F3 illegal in the US?

I don't think that it's excluded from the spirit of the law which should cover the use of DRL on any motor vehicle designed for use on public roads.

2019 F3 illegal in the US?

As some of you may be aware, the 2019 redesign had the subtle but detrimental change to bring the turn signals OUT of the mirror and incorporate them into the DRLs in the fender. Not sure why this was done, but OK. HOWEVER! I have discovered a severe safety flaw that is actually against DOT...

    How's this price?

Well, I got the official buyer's order and it was about $1000 in fees (before taxes because it was an out of state sale), so the sale price was $22,955, with a firm trade offer on her ST-L for $10,000. I took this to my local dealer and he took it to his manager. Our local salesman came back...

    How's this price?

I'm sure there are. The price quoted was for the bike only. I haven't gotten the buyer's order yet so I don't know what the fees look like. That's the next step. I just wanted to see if this deal was headed in the right direction or not.

I'm looking at buying a brand new 2019 F3 Limited for $21,900. Would this be a good deal or should I keep looking around? :dontknow:

    F3 Limited top case removal

Hey all, we are about to upgrade my wife's ST-L to an F3-L. We are looking at the Phoenix Orange dark edition and want to be able to remove the trunk. I have found VERY limited resources and only ONE video on YouTube describing taking the trunk off the bike. A question for people who have...

Are there any easy ways of replacing a tail light? 2014 STS

I assume you meant the bulbs I replaced them with. Those bulbs are LEDs and are very bright. Brighter than stock and nice red color. Instant intensity change and takes some load off the electrical system. Much better to use with a pulse module, plus I never have to worry about them burning out...
