• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I ditched my receivers and now use my iPhone. It is not without issues but better than trying to find a good signal.

    Ride Suggestions for Pennsylvania?

On the Erie leg of the trip do not pass up Presque Isle park. Miles of slow riding through some amazing, unique land. The sunsets there are rated amongst the best in the world. When I lived there 20+ years ago we would take the ride at least once a week year round.

No Steering! Need some Help PLease!

Check your relay seatings in the fuse box. If it has poor contact you would experience what you are describing. Ask me how I know!

    Mad Stad customized

Looks great! I carbon fiber wrapped mine. It's subtle but a few people have noticed it.

How do you clean your phantom panels?

The ammonia in windex may lead to aging of the plastic. I use a product called black again for serious cleaning once or twice a season. It goes on shiny but dulls out nicely over night. For general wipe downs I use Pledge sprayed onto a shop towel. Also use the pledge on the shiny parts.

    Hit 5K miles yesterday

Thought I would be there much earlier this year but carpel tunnel in both hands slowed me down in the mileage department. I also logged 1200 miles on my other Spyder (by Johnny Pag). The JP Spyder is being put away for the winter- the can-am will be ridden unless there is snow on the ground...

XM Sirius Radio (Where to mount it)

I also love Sirius but went the simple route and now use the phone app for my car, office, home and Spyder. Stand-alone subscription is $12 a month. Plus I also use my phone as a gps and of course phone.

Spyder Half Covers on Sale $28.99

Yes on the for rs only but not sure on the touring shield. I have used mine with a F1 w/extensions and my Corbin front fairing shield. All I needed to do is tie a loop onto the footpeg hooks so I can strap it down.

Spyder Half Covers on Sale $28.99

Motorcyclegear has the Nelson Rigg half cover on sale right now for $28.99. I have one of these and it works great for keeping the heat, rain and crazies off the seat. And it packs small so I can always have it with me without taking up too much space in my storage. It works with every shield...

Thanks! These should do the trick- just need to refinish them so they match my ride.

    S O A

Never watched it until a month ago when I watched season 1-3 straight through. I'm now hooked and tune in every time it's on.

    Passenger peg risers?

Wife and I rode with her as passenger first time since installing my Corbin bags. The repositioning of the pegs does not work for her and she can no longer reach them. Any ideas on rising them up 3" for her tiny stature?

What do i need to ride to Canada?

International insurance coverage document is a big one. Not a problem if you don't have an incident but if you do- including a speeding ticket- big headaches. In the 80's I went to Toronto with some buddies and we learned the hard way that you can be detained until a verification is complete...

    500th Ride For Kids

Getting ready to head out to the Baltimore/dc Ride For Kids event this morning. I rarely do group rides but this one is special- I have family personally impacted by a pediatric brain tumor and my company does research in this area. The past few years it has been rainy for the event so why...

say goodbye to the spyder (just kiddin'...check this out!)

You need to pick between the 100 miles between charges and 100mph. Faster speed increases battery drain rate. On a Similar 100 mile capable ebike the range is only possible at 20-30 mile and hour flat-road cruising. Ridden at highway speeds it only has a range of 20 miles.

    New companion for my Spyder

My Johnny Pag Barhog roller arrived via truck today. My winter project. I'll be rebuilding a 78 yamaha xs400 engine for it's powerhouse. Should test my patience and if I'm not careful I might learn a thing or two. They sell a ready to ride Barhog with a 300cc engine. My wife has their...

Just found this on the internet

A local dealer carries these and I looked it over at a show. He invited me down for a rude but I have not taken him up on the offer. The only thing I recall is feeling way too low which would be a major safety issue.

    Spyder Embelms?

Don't ignore the RS! Would love these. I've debranded most of my spyder but it still has the BRP emblem on the frunk. I would replace it with one of these in a heartbeat.
